Ugh. 4 day TOM stall. No change.

Thanks for the explanation. So conversely, if you load with a bunch of fats/proteins and see a gain, would it be real fat and therefore harder to lose? And if you finish HCG and go back to eating starches and sugars, you are going to gain back the initial water loss. . .which we can hopefully get rid of with a steak day.Do you know if water and inflammation are the same thing? The reason I ask is that I have gained 5 lbs from a pizza night, and if I do a steak day I have only dropped under a lb. I'm thinking maybe the steak days do not help inflammation, only water, but I don't know if that is the same thing.
I would think it was the cookies if the tastes were not so small, but it still may have been that. Dr S does say a single almond can stall you and the cookie bits did have pecans, and they were very rich.
Congrats on your 2 lbs!
Don't stress Lola. What happened to weighing once a week?Stress causes weight gain. This is not even an official stall yet, and a .2 gain isn't even a real gain. Grammy has a stall every round. Did you have a big loss before the slow down? I know I did one time, where I lost 3 lbs in one day, but then I was up and down within that three lbs for the next 3 days, and on the fourth day I got to "keep" the loss. Good luck, for certain you will be dropping again soon.
I tried coconut oil on P2 once, and the only thing it did was make me poop (which is a weight loss), but it only worked for one day. Then the next couple days I didn't lose because of the fats. Maybe a teaspoon is not enough to cause a problem though.
AFM: I had been down only .2, but went back to bed and was down .8 total. So now I am rested AND slimmer! lol
VLCD6 and I am down 7 lbs total as of today including 4lbs load weight. Was 157, goal is between 140-145. Getting closer! I've found this round that strawberries slow my losses. The onion powder was not the issue at all, I think it was the strawberries all along. I haven't ate them for the past 2 days and have lost both days. I seem to do good with apples so I'll stick with those. Funny how every round is different. Ive also ate some cocoa crack the past 2 days, i know its NOP. Was craving sweet so made some. I've also felt pretty low on energy this round despite taking my supplements. I'm sure that will get better after the first week.
It's a beautiful day here. Sunny and in the 60's. It's been a weird week, snow storm one day then 60's the next. Mother nature has been very bipolar the past week lol. Only had to work 11 hrs last night instead of 12 due to daylight savingslove this time of year!

Well, I'm up today by .8. I ate my normal meals so I'm not sure what that's about unless its my body somehow rebelling against the 5.2lbs in 3 days I recently experienced this late in the protocol. I'm not going to worry about, I'm ahead of the game/losses given I had a week stall during TOM so I'll take it. Since the whoosh fairy decided to skip my house I hope she made a pass thru for everyone else.

My medications that I am taking for hypothyroidism is Cytomel.
Starting weight 208 lbs., last dosage weight 188 lbs.
Thank you, im hoping to get to goal as soon as possible so i can end this lol. I am just burnt out on p2 foods.
March is considered our snowiest month of the year. We've had enough snow in my opinion so I hope we have an early spring. I'll take rain any day but no more snow.

I'm with you Jennifer...VLCD13, seriously doubting my ability to get thru 24 more days of this.......i have no hunger at all and am just going thru the motions at this point. I keep going back and forth with myself what an acceptable LIW would be for me....what number would i be ok with on day VLCD27 (30 injections) and call it a round and stop or should i go a few more days?? Going into week 3 so if losses continue as they have been it may come to fruition, oh how that would be a happy dance for sure!
Hi all! I woke up to a 1 lb loss which I was surprised about because I felt really bloated this morning for some reason. I had dreams (nightmares?) last night that I couldn't stop cheating and they seemed so real! Was glad to wake up and realize that I've stayed POPIt was good though, I think it was my subconcious telling me that cheating isn't worth it (I had a rough day with cravings yesterday.)
Starting week 2 today, down 8. Definitely my slowest weight loss round, but maybe I'll just be consistent and not stall? Wishful thinking probably but you never know. I took my multi yesterday and it really helped with the cravings and the hunger today. I'm also not as dizzy. I'll add it back into my rotation for sure. It was a beautiful day in Colorado today so the kids and I went bike riding for a couple of hours. I am beat! That is definitely not a P2 activity!! But life can't stop just because moms on a diet eitherHave a good one all!

no, I don't think it's necessarily real fat or harder to lose. Often it's because of combining starch and fat....a bad combo as well. There are severL factors involved. After hcg, you will gain some water weight. It's inevitable. I really don't know where plain water retention and inflammation begin and end. Personally, I think the more refined the carb, the more inflammation it causes because it's foreign to our guts. And I agree about the steak days....they have an immediate diuretic effect....but they don't do much for any inflammation. That takes several more days to subside. I don't think Simmeons had to deal with as many inflammatory food issues in his day. Food products were much simpler and more real back then.
