    hello everyone. My name is Amal and im starting vlcd today march 13th ) im a little behind you all but want to join you all in this journey and will try my best to blog daily to avoid cheating and finish up this round with a success!

    JT ~ This is the name of the thread. 7-10 Day Break in P2? If you search that title, it will bring up more "taking a break" threads which were also interesting, but this one is pretty simplified and follows Dr S Protocal, which is what I am doing. He's got a good thing, and don't want to stray away from the original premis. It was started in 2009, but exactly what I was looking for.

    Headache is going away. Thanks goodness.
    Only .2 down this morning. I soaked my cucumber in acv. Maybe didn't like the salt I added. All good though a loss is a loss.

    After that 3 business trip I found that I lost 3.2lbs!!! Whew! That feeling is so much better than free cocktail receptions! Lol

    What I love about hcg is that I am never really hungry. If you are really hungry, you may need to adjust your dose. You cannot do that until day 5, so since this is day 4, think about how you feel today and decide if you need to skip a day tomorrow to help determine if you need to adjust your dose.

    I don't know Jill. YOu would think the 3 day penalty would stop us from cheating but it doesn't always work. I'm sure you'll be back on track today.

    Welcome Amal - this is great community and a wonderful decision. The first few days can be rough as you get your dose adjusted - but, work through it and you will be so happy.

    VLCD17....Captain's log...lol...looks like i can add broccoli to my list of P2 veggies. Tested the waters yesterday and down -.8 this morning. I'll try it again Saturday but yay if I can now eat some broccoli. The thought of any more spinach makes my stomach turn

    Jill-hang in there, don't beat yourself up too much, it happens and you are doing great so far! Depending on the quantity of chips it may not be that bad. I eat salsa every day on P2.

    Ash-that is impressive loss for being on the road, way to go! "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels"!

    I'm ok with broccoli too. Has anyone tried kale and why would it not be pop except that it probably wasn't around back then?
