    Has anyone ever tried using quinoa as their protein? I was trolling over on the vegan/vegetarian thread and it piqued my interest since I am having trouble tolerating meat and eggs.

    Also got on the scale again it now says I have gained 1.5 in two hours? I haven't eaten anything or drank water yet.

    OK. The called the clinic as soon as they opened. I got the wrong dose in my preloaded syringes lol. Now just have to fix them back down to 125 and that should fix the hunger issue. Also need a new scale. Took a breath and stopped freaking out and weighed my kids multiple times. Each time they had a different weight too. Woohoo. Feeling way better and even got to play a fun game with my kids lol

    Hi Ladies and Gents
    Hope you don't mind my posting here. I am not o much as I work from home.But recently was hurt from a fall and haven't been able to do much. But now I am beginning to be able to get around again.,Thank the good Lord!
    I am back on Ph 2. This is round 2 Ph 2 for me. I gained ten lbs loaidng this time I was shocked. But was down 3. today my first weigh in after loading.So hope everyone is doing well and dropping those lbs!

    It looks like you're really close to goal (your ticker)! Is that your final goal, or just your round goal?

    I was down .4# today, hoping that I see a bigger loss tomorrow since I'll have 2 days of TOM under my belt and hopefully some of this bloating will be gone.

    Hello all! I'm still around, just haven't been very active here in the forum. Stopped weighing daily and now weigh weekly. Almost to goal TOM came yesterday....yippee so sense in weighing until it's over. Not really much to say at this point. Just wanted to pop in for a brief update. Have a great day!

    Thank you for the welcome.I wasn't sure if I was in the right place.
    No I have a looooong way to go before I get to goal. I started out at 275.8 and got down to 239.8 now I am hoping to get out the 30's this round.
    I haven't changed my ticker cause I gained the ten lbs loading this time so when I get beyond that ten lbs I will change it. I do small goals ten lbs at a time then it doesn't seem so overwhelming.!My final goal will be around 160 or so.

    Isn't quinoa a non gluten containing grain? I think any protein content would be negligible. And the carb content pretty high. How are they using/preparing it?
