    What to do for massive food cravings???

    This protocol works. I did it successfully 6 years ago. Since then, my mother died and I have gained 70 pounds. I know that when followed perfectly, the protocol works fantastically. My problem is the intense food cravings. I load and then can't seem to get through the first 1-2 days of P2 because the cravings are intense. What are you best tips and tricks to handle cravings? What do YOU do to help yourself get through a craving and not cheat? I want success!!!

    Unfortunately cravings go along with sugar and other toxin detox. If you can cut out sugar and refined flours a week or so before starting your round, you can get a head start on that detox. If you then load mainly on good fats, meats, nuts full fat dairy and keep the sugary & deep fried treats to one or two, you have a good head start on your detox.

    There are a couple tricks I've used successfully to get past those cravings when in the low calorie phase.

    Flavored hot tea
    Take a walk or start an interesting project
    Glutamine - an 1/8 to 1/4 tsp under your tongue can diminish the craving in about 10 minutes.

    Thanks Leez! You know...the truth is they are emotional cravings, not just detox cravings. And emotional cravings are whole other ball game.... yowsers!

    Any place that sells supplements should have it. I usually buy online. Its just an amino acid, so very harmless.
