Thread: New and miserable. HELP

    Great!
2nd doing the IM injections...no hunger. But!

I forgot to put the hcg back in the fridge. Oy.
I left it in my downstairs bathroom...there's no sunlight and it's cool, about 67 degrees.

Do you think it's inactive? Do I need to buy another vial?

Your Hcg is fine. It can be left out for several days at room temperature without losing potency.

So glad to hear you are finally comfortable. Those IM injections are amazing.

Phew. Good to know. I was told by the clinic it would become a very expensive paperweight if I left it out of the fridge for longer than 1 hour.
So glad to have found this forum!

Thanks very much to you and Grammy.

I'm so glad it's working well! Dr. Simeons left his hcg at room temperature and used it up over 2-3 days.

    Hi Grammy,

    I'm back doing round 2.

I'm doing IM with the needles you suggested above. With these needles, what number do you draw up to? I feel like I'm doing something wrong as I'm really hungry on VLCD Day 8.
Last time, I wasn't hungry when I did IM injections.

This time I notice that there's also always about a quarter of an inch (or less) left in the needle - which I cannot get out.

I feel like my dose is off. Want to make sure I'm pulling to the right number.

Also, I bought my HCG from Leez's Diet Doc link this time. Bought it in early July. Had to abruptly discontinue at that point. Now that is over one month later, do I need to buy more HCG? (Thought I read somewhere that it's only potent for a month or so.

I'm not opposed to it, if necessary.

How did you mix it, honey? If you mixed it in early July, it's likely no longer potent. Is this the same mix you say you weren't hungry on before or are you talking about a previous round?

Hi I mixed it in early July.
    Itís hcg through Diet Doc.
Yes, this is my second round. I had to stop abruptly in early July.

THe last round was Hcg through a doctorís office in LA. That came already mixed.
That time I stopped being hungry when I took your suggestion & bought the above needles to do IM.
I donít remember there being ďextraĒ Hcg left in IM needles, that I couldnít fully inject.

So - maybe this Hcg is no longer potent. &
    - maybe Iím drawing the wrong amount in the IM needles.
    - or both?

Do you remember how you mixed it? What number are you drawing the needle? And it's likely not potent either.

    Hi Grammy,
I use the exact same IM needles you use (linked below) - you recommended them and provided links - bought from the same company.

The syringe measures up to 1.0 ml
    So I draw to .125

However, almost a quarter of it gets stuck in the needle almost every time.

(I'm not sure how I could have lost 7 pounds since my pre-load weight on July 30 if it's no longer potent.)

I just now looked at reviews for the needles above - a couple of users reported the same thing: loss of dosage because solution gets stuck in needle.

Some people lose weight even when the solution isn't potent just from the diet. I'm not one of them though. And many of us with potent hcg will lose 10 pounds the first week on hcg so 7 pounds in 2 weeks isn't that great when you lose most the first couple of weeks of a round. The slight loss of solution was never a problem for me because I always mix with more water as we recommend on here but if you're only drawing to .125 then you have that potent mix I hate. All IM needles have that issue which is why Dr. Simeons always mixed with more water. He specifically mentions that issue.

If you get fresh hcg, make sure you follow the mixing instructions here on the forum. That potent mix has many problems with it including that needle issue. It's also hard to adjust the dose because it's so minute and I see way more hunger and problems with it even if you're doing SQ because of the solution lost in the needle.
