In the last week I've only lost 3 lbs. I'm at 139.8 so I'm within healthy range for my height again, although I was hoping to get down to 135 to give some leeway during stabilization. BUT, I have my mother in law coming in Thursday and then trick or treating and a halloween party this weekend (don't worry-I won't eat the candy but it would be nice to be able to eat a little more normal food for the party). So if I cut the drops today (I'll finish out today and stop tonight.) then I will have my 2 days of VLCD off the drops and then be able to go into maintenance on Friday, which gives me time to add a few things to my diet between then and the party Sunday.
At this point, I feel like I'm not getting enough protein or any other nutrients so any small loss i might get in sticking it out another day or two just isn't going to be worth it. I'm happy with a 23 lb loss. Maybe my body is just done.
Sounds like you have it all figured out!! Way to go!

Not sure if I'm posting properly. This is my first time in a forum, but 3rd straight year and 3rd round on the HCG drops. I'm on day 2 of the VLCD. I'm not as hungry as I recall being the first time around, so maybe I did the gorge days properly. I'm even more motivated this time around since I gained a lot of weight during my pregnancy last year. My little girl is 6 months now, and she still weighs less than what I gained I'm a little nervous that the drops won't be as effective since I had HCG running through my body during 9+ months of pregnancy. It's also a bit discouraging to look back at the past 2 years when I've completed the diet. I was so much smaller, and it feels as though I've got a lot of ground to cover until I even get back to my start weight on my first round. Maybe I'm being dramatic. It's only 15 pounds to my start weight and another 20 after that to get back to where I was. I can do this. I can do anything for 30 days! I love the energy that I get from the HCG and have been enjoying the simplicity of deciding what to eat. Also, P2 always gets me craving healthy foods. I start making a mental list of everything I'm going to enjoy in P3 which aren't fatty or starchy. I love a challenge, and that's one of many reasons I love this diet. That, and because it works! So glad that there is a forum here.

Welcome Kansas! I'm just finishing up my 4th round in 3 years. It sounds like you have a reasonable goal. Where did you get your drops from? I get mine from DIYHCG and I started this round with the last of the batch I ordered in January 2013 (expiration date 2016) and had great losses. In fact I almost wondered if they work better than the batch I'm taking now. It's the only place I've ever done drops before but this was the first time I've used an old bottle. I did not refrigerate the drops this last couple years and the taste was a little stronger and almost stung a little under the tongue but nothing bad. And eveerything else with losses and all did just fine so you will probably be fine as long as it's before the expiration date. Good luck on your losses!

Lowest I have been in about 10 days (and ever). Finally got my act together. I wouldn't mind going to my doctor on friday and being 154ish.

The interview went AMAZING. He offered me a job on the spot (this was second interview), but I should have a formal offer by the weekend. Means relocation to Nevada. I am super stoked. It's a small company but in 4 years they have grown with minimal effort, and I know that it will turn into a big thing. It's a risk, but where would we get in life if we didn't take risks? As a RN Health Coach I will be working with patients who are referred to coaching by their PCP, who have disease management issues, (hypertension, diabetes) or weight management issues (obesity). Basically this is a special plan that employers offer their staff in order to provide better benefits for cheaper. Those who participate and are compliant get an incentive, for instance a bonus $750 annually. The doctors also get an incentive based on certain measures and compliance stats. It's a win-win for everyone! Big, exciting changes ahead.

Other than that not much going on. I was able to stay on track amoungst driving to the interview for 2 hours, being at the interview for 3 hours, and driving home for 3 hours. LONG day! But worth it.

Off for morning cardio! Have a great day!

CONGRATS!!! Best of luck and I hope you get he official offer soon!! I feel a small company is great! Hopefuly you can be alloted more time with your patients then and have less job stress. I think change is good; so good luck if you go for the move!!

Just checking in. I'm at Day 32. Low-ish on drops but I should have enough to squeeze through until Nov 6 for my extended round. I am grateful to have lost 1.4 lbs after a week-long stall where I had begin to feel discouraged and was worried I wasn't going to lose any more. My weight loss I know is rather slow, but as I said I eat more than protocol -- but the inches are coming off I can see that. Funniest things is the day I ate way more than usual a huge steak (and I know I'm not supposed to but I added some cocoa crack before bed) - the next morning was when the stall broke and I lost. Maybe my metabolism was just a little stuck too - I believe that can happen on a low diet.

Hope everyone is doing well. I feel like I'm going to miss the HCG process, as it's been a long round. And though the diet is boring, it is consistent and one less thing for me to have to worry about or figure out in life. My son has loved all the chicken soup I have been making with celery so I am lucky to have that support.

Keep up the great work everyone and thanks again for the support here! I am hoping to lose at least 6-8 more lbs before the end of this phase. Hope so!!!! But my rate of loss has definitely slowed so we will see. I am okay with whatever my body need right now and its timing.

Hi everyone! Hcgnurse, I'm so excited for you! That job sounds fantastic. :-)

I've been in a 7 day stall, was almost going to throw in the towel, when all of a sudden this morning I am down 2.2!!! I just stood there and stared at the digital read out. I love it when a stall breaks, especially with a big woosh like that.

Sounds like you have it figured out. Sometimes we just need a break. You can always do another round to get closer to goal or try to lose the last 5 lbs without hcg. I thikn 23 lbs is awesome!!

Welcome! You have experience so you know what you need to do, you can do it!

    ---

AFM, thank you all for the kind words! I am trying to be patient for the end of the week. Then it will be REAL!

I was 155.6 this AM so own 0.7. Should be able to hit my 154 goal. I had a large glass of wine last night, but didn't seem to affect me too much. Gonna eat some extra veggies today just in case!

    Have a great day!

    Been reading, but not posting

Just jumping back in and seeing everyones progress. Congrats everyone.
I had a couple of weekends that I did not follow protocol, Birhtday celebrations.
The first weekend I gained 5 lbs and it took 4 days to get that off.
The second weekend I gained 2 lbs and lost that the next day.
Due to the fact I lowered my drops to 5drops 3X's a day I have enough to do and extended round,
witch I am seriously considering being as I lost a week celebrating.

    Again congrats to everyone.

Well-first day of no drops is today and I lost a full pound so I'm at a 24 lb loss. Would be awesome if I get one more pound out of the no drops days so I make my 25 lbs loss! LOL. This is the most I have lost on a round even though it's been a REALLY slow round of low losses but I also didn't need to lose more in my other rounds so I was able to have shorter rounds when I reached my goal.

I'm down another .4 today. It's day 25 for me and I'm starting to get tired of the protein choices.
