In P2 and doing MIC shots from Diet Doc..have questions

    Hello,
I have done HCG since 2011 and this is the first time adding the MIC shots. I have googled and searched, but can't find the answer. Where can we give subcutaneous shots? I've read you give in your rear end. I am wondering if I can give it in my outer/inner thigh fat? Does anyone know?

    Thanks,
    Dana

The best place to do any subcutaneous shot is in the area around the navel, about two inches away all around. There are very few nerves in that area, so the shots are virtually painless. Here's a tip on MIC injections: The liquid in the MIC shots is thicker than water, so you you want to be careful to inject slowly as the liquid needs some time to disperse in the tissues. Otherwise, you could get a temporary and sometimes painful lump at the injection site until it dissipates.

But you can do them in the thigh if you wish. You can find a chart on line for diabetic subcutaneous injection sites that will give you all the options.

Butt shots (generally top of the hip area in the back) are usually recommended if you are doing intramuscular injections. Those require a lot longer needle.
