    P2 Headache

I am VLCD 4 and been battling a headache for four days. Iíve done other rounds before and had a headache for the first day or two but not this long. Iíve tried ib profen, cold press, caffeine, nothing helps.
I was also hungry yesterday afternoon and was going to skip my morning dose today but i forgot! Ugh. I just feel like crap and I have to get things done. Not sure what else to do right now.

Headaches are unfortunately a normal thing the first few days of the VLCD. They usually pass by the end of the first week.

A couple things to check in case it is unrelated the HCG side effect.

Enough hydration? Drinking enough might not be enough. Adding some mineral salt to your water helps your body absorb it and helps balance electrolytes.

    Caffeine or sugar withdrawal.

Stevia can cause headaches. If you have started using a different sweetener, it could be part of the problem.

Consider trying corydalis. Its an ayurvedic herb that works like ibruprophen for pain relief. It seems to work as well or better for about half the people that try it. Its great if you are one of the lucky 50%. It works great for my husband, but not so much for me.

    Thanks so much Leez!
Iím getting enough water so I think itís just normal week one headache and possibly stevia. Iíll cut the stevia and see if that helps. And thanks for the medicinal suggestion. Iím down to try anything! I have MS and so with the neuropathy and headaches Iím going a bit nuts.

Iíve been pretty weak too which is not like past rounds. I was hungry yesterday and didnít skip normal dosage today like i was going to- and today i didnít get hungry. In fact Iím getting more heartburn. I have no idea whatís going on.
Iíll just do the normal dose 10 drops/3x tomorrow and gauge how i feel, then skip day if need be.
I donít why Iím feeling so dang weak though...

I appreciate your feedback as always

Headaches are very wearying even without the stress of the diet. Hope you get some relief soon.

The only thing that seems to take away my VLCD headaches are Aleve. I also don't get a VLCD headache if I only load on fats, with minimal sugar (only in beverages), and no starches.
