    End of P2 and TOM

    Hi all,

Yesterday was supposed to be my last injection (and today the start of 72 hours without HCG), and I started my period today.

The scale bumped up about 3 pounds today (very common for me for TOM.)

Confused, however, about whether I should just call today a skip day and continue my injections through my period or continue my P2 exit. I’m pretty confident this 3 pounds (if not more) will fall off after my period ends.

FWIW -I am on a long round (40 injections) and this will not be my last round. I have 1 more planned after this.

    Thanks for all advice!

    Jenna

I’m curious if Leez or Grammy saw this, and what their answer would be?

My advice would have been to do the last injection that day, but take her LIW from the day before.

It seems that she was completing a 40 dose round (the maximum allowed), so the option to continue is not relevant.

I have a similar question, today is my 35th injection day and just started my TOM (early) I was planning on doing 40 injections, so i am wondering if it is better to skip a few injections durring TOM (which i normally don’t do) so that I have 3 injections left for after my TOM or to end as planned on the 40th injection and not skip any days, if I chose to end as planned will this effect stabilization in p3, this is my second round of hcg and had no trouble stabilizing during the first round, also if this makes a difference I am currently a ‘normal’ weight for my height 5’2” 135, as of today, it’s not my goal weight but in the normal range I believe, I started at 158.8 after loading days

It might not hurt to skip maybe 2 injections so you have enough injections left following TOM. You have done great!

I will ask Jen to get involved as she knows more about this than I do.
