AFM - I'm being naughty....P3 begins tomorrow, but I'm indulging in a glass of red wine as I type. I know, so much for me not being rogue. I just couldn't wait. We'll see what tomorrow brings! As of now 118 and holding!

Hello- Sorry I have been MIA! We did a last minute tip to NYC. Crazy while on hog. I did cheat a bit with cream in coffee, feta cheese and some salad dressing. This morning I was .5 above LIW so we will see what tomorrow brings. Today is Day 26 and I forgot my injection this morning running to my daughters Thanksgiving gathering. I feel done maybe this is a sign. If my weight is back to my LIW tomorrow I think I will just be done.
Thanks for your comments on leptin Erin. I think the basic 5 rules are ok to follow. I don't think I could do the Dr Krouse thing. Too much meat!
Byron J. Richard's Leptin Diet
1. Never eat after dinner
- Allow 11-12 hours between dinner and breakfast
- Never go to bed on a full stomach
- Finish dinner at least 3 hours before bed
2. Eat 3 meals a day
- Allow 5-6 hours between meals
- Do not snack
3. Do not eat large meals
- Always try to finish a meal slightly before you are full
- Eat slowly
- Listen to internal cues, that you are full, and stop eating
4. Eat a breakfast containing protein
- Up protein if you are dealing with strong cravings and find it difficult to get to lunch
- Eggs (not smothered in butter and cheese), cottage cheese, peanut butter, almond butter, high efficiency whey protein, chicken, meat, turkey
5. Reduce the amount of carbohydrates eaten
- Eat some carbohydrates though
- "50/50 technique": palm-sized portion of protein (4-6 ounces for women, 6-8 ounces for men) and a palm-sized amount of carbohydrates
- Bread, rice, pasta, squash, potatoes, fruit, corn
- No calorie counting
- Take 1-2 tablespoons of good soluble fiber if you are not feeling full
- Fill up on fiber-rich vegetables
I Know my blood sugar needs help. I feel like I could kill someone when I don't eat! Not sure how to fix that and my adrenal fatigue. URG!
I really want to just be normal and skinny!

Happy to say that another .5 is gone. It looks like I will have the classic "step-loss". Lose more one day and then a bit less the next. The good news is that I'm down over 8 inches overall AND ALL IN THE RIGHT PLACES!!!!

Hey, thought I would jump in here with you all if you dont mindThis is my first round on HCG and I am on VLCD5. So far so good, down 6.6 lbs. Im 5'2, and this mornings weigh in was 134.2. After a year of dabbling with many different diets I finally broke the 135lb mark, yay! My goal is 120 lbs... really hoping I will be able to stabilize all right through Christmas, as my last day on phase 2 will be Dec 16, eek! Anyway, its good to meet you all, and congratulations on all of your losses.
Hello ladies! I started p3 on Thanksgiving! I ate a few naughty foods. I am happy to say I have stayed the same as my LIW or .5 more. I am thrilled. My husband has been out of town all week so I plan to start working out again next week. I would be thrilled to lose another 3 lbs!
Where did all of you go!! Would love to hear an update!

i started this past sunday for round 2, i'm down 1.6 from loading which i'd gained 3.6lbs. yesterday i had no hunger pains at all it was great.
looking forward to loosing more. i'd like to get down to 120! have a great day everyone & be strong.
