    I also just started Phase 2 - Round 2 - VLCD 3! Gained all the weight back that I lost on Round 1...sigh..but was so desperate to get into Phase 3, that I was like a vaccuum cleaner with food. I'll update my stats later to keep accountability. Hope you guys don't mind the company.

    ok, more info.

    in the past 4 years i have lost 42 lbs. first 35 was eating whatever with portion control. then i quit losing as i think i was restricting too much. i found LC in may of '08. ate all combos of ZC/VLC/LC but mainly LC. i lost what, another 7lbs on LC. i have decided that i can maintain GREAT on LC, but losing...not so easy. i have read about hhcg and decided to give it a go. i do NOT want to maintain at the weight i am currently. i would love to lose at least 20, but 25 or 30 would be GREAT! but will start with 20-25.

    today is day 2 of loading and i am focusing on lots of fat and protein. have had a few carbs but nothing crazy.

    tomorrow will be VLCD1.

    Welcome to everyone who has joined and thank you for taking part in our journey!

    I failed to give any of my information when I created the post, so I guess I'll go ahead and fill you guys in! This is my fourth round of subq hcg. My first two rounds were a complete success; I went from 220-160 on two back-to-back rounds, losing 60 lbs. I guess I can say that I am halfway a success story since I was able to keep the weight off for over a year, until last year when I found out I was pregnant! I gained 20 lbs (that wasn't baby weight) during my pregnancy, which put me at 180 (197 with baby) and then after he was born I attempted hcg again..failed..miserably failed and since cheating on hcg makes you gain more weight, I started my VLCD yesterday weighing 198.4...so incredibly disappointing.. but I have my motivation back and now that I have you guys to share this with, I will lose all of that weight and then some! At the bare minimum, I would like to lose 48.4 lbs putting me at 150 but I am hoping that with my diet and P90x, I can lose at least 1.5 per day and make it to my overall goal which is 135 lbs in the next 40 days! Am I crazy? Absolutely. Is it abtainble? I've literally seen a woman lose 80lbs in 40 days.. This is going to be amazing! Again, thanks for all of you being here!! <3 <3

    I forgot to see who it was but for the people having to make food for their families as well, try to have your own "cheats". Keep strawberries on hand with some stevia, unsweetened cocoa powder and water to dip them in.. or apple slices with cinnamon and stevia.. maybe even baked. Even if it's an extra fruit you'll do a lot better than with peanut butter and celery and it tastes a lot better too We can do this!
    Thanks HcginAz it was me, the celery and peanut butter cheat! : 0 Gosh who would have thought that would be a sin. Well today I have had some hunger pains but not that bad just here and there and actually doing quite well with the foods. But I like your idea of having things to grab and will wash up some strawberries and put them out when I go to make dinner tonight. Might leave a few celery sticks plain for myself. Gotta check my list I think that is on the list. Thanks again, congrats on your loss!

    this afternoon, i measured out some raw meat and put in individual baggies, grab and cook!

    i also cut up two 100g portions of strawberries.

    i read some of you are not totally following protocol. that will be me as well. i am going to have slightly more protein and my calories will be 500-700.

    PSA: do NOT bolus yourself with high fat coconut milk for the sake of a high fat loading day. don't.do.it. i made a smoothie with too much coconut milk (20g fat per 1/2 cup!) plus heavy whipping cream and a double portion of protein powder. my poor tummy has been gurgling allllll day as if i had eaten too many sugar free chocolates. i made this same smoothie yesterday with just heavy whipping cream and it didn't bother me at all! def was the coconut milk.

    ETA: what method are you all using? i am taking intermountain pellets 3 pellets 3x's a day at 8am, 2pm, & 8pm. after just one day of taking them i could tell there are doing something. my boobs were SORE and full feeling this morning and i haven't had sore girls in forever!!

    My quick story... In the past 3 years I have tried a myriad of diets but the only 2 that I had success with were Nutrisystem lost 20 LBS and recently like 2 months ago tried Weight Watchers lost 10 LBS and pretty much have been steady at 144 pounds for about a month... I have a 7 year anniversary coming up and a friend of mine lost 30 pounds in 30 days on hcg so I said I would only be hurting myself not trying this! lol.... So here I am... I want to get down to 125! After loading I was at 149.2 and I am now on Day 6 at 140.5... My phase 3 will begin the Sunday before I go on vaca we leave on a Thursday. So although I won't be able to have sugar or starch I am pretty excited about the things I will be able too eat should put me in a good mood right before vaca =-) already decided to bring my ice cream maker to make ice cream with stevia, instant coffee, and heavy cream CAN'T WAIT! lol

    VLCD2-lost .4 today...didn't stick to the diet at all yesterday and totally paying for it today. My husband decided to do hcg as well since he has a PT test (he's in the Army) coming up soon and wants to make sure he drops the weight soon.. we ate the same thing last night but he managed to lose 3.4 lbs.. such a blow to my ego but I'm so excted for him anyway! Today will be better today!
