    Planning for High Activity Days

This semester I'm in field school, so once a week I have 9 hour hiking/bending/on my feet days (archaeology). Do I need to add additional food/calories to the diet on those days?

My first one is next Friday, so no huge rush

You'll probably be fine unless the hiking is very strenuous. If you feel you need to add something beyond your allowed calories, protein is the best choice.

I would split your food up so that you are eating something every 2-3 hours during that time. Stay hydrated and if you will be perspiring a lot, add some mineral salt to your water or foods to keep electrolytes in balance.

My recent HCG round was with DietDoc. Our site owner has generously arranged for me to earn a small fee if you use my DietDoc link to order your supplies. (All HDI site discounts and coupons apply.) A full review of my experience and how the round progressed: my Diet Doc review.
