    Red Mountain mistakes :(

I'm so frustrated right now. Day 21 in P2 and have been following Red Mountain's food guidelines, realizing just now that they're different from the protocol. Can someone please set me straight? I've been eating 2 oz, 2 oz, and 3 oz protein each meal (chicken breast and pork tenderloin), blueberries, apples, and strawberries for fruits, cauliflower, broccoli and spinach for veggies. I lost 10 lbs. the first 2 weeks, then I stalled these last 5 days. How bad have I screwed this up? Should I now go 35-40 days instead of 30 to make up for it? And someone please clarify veggie portions for me--I'm reading different things. Much appreciated!

The allowed choices are found here in the protocol menus: https://hcgdietinfo.com/hCG-Diet-M**...alories-44.htm You have some off protocol items in each category.

7.2 ounces (200 grams) of protein are specified per day. You can split that up however you wish, except that you can't eat the whole amount at one meal.

Veggie portions aren't specified. What many of us do is add up the calories for everything else and then fill in up to 500 with veggie portions.

You've actually done quite well even with being off protocol. Stalls are common and generally hit on the second or third week A stall of 10 days is not unusual, although it is frustrating for sure.

Please note that any suggestions I make are based on the Original Protocol.

Thank you for replying, Leez! Do you think I should extend P2?

We generally recommend a round of at least 30 dose days if possible. Once you get to that point, you have the best chance at stabilization. Why don't you wait and then decide if you are mentally up for adding on more days. You can do a maximum of 40 dose days.

As for "making up for it", I don't really think it can be made up for. It's just going to work from this point however it works.
