Breanna, it does get so long. You will do great! And that is definitely why I suggest waiting the full six weeks between rounds. I will wait at least 8 weeks for next time since it will be round 3 for me.

I am not complaining. I just thought I would get to 135 in one round and then see where to go after phase 3 and 4.

I took pictures in a bathing suit before the detox at 153.5 and now at 142.5. I compared to pictures from the last 5 years also in a bathing suit and I am smaller and have lost the pounds and inches more where I needed to instead of just being a smaller version of before still shaped the same with the same big thighs, hips, and belly.

I have lost 2 inches in my bust and 2 inches in my waist but 5 inches at my belly button and 5 inches at my hips.

The bathing suit pictures are just for before/after pictues. It has been years since I went out in public in a bathing suit. I was 172 pounds 5 years ago and hated that picture but love looking at it now and seeing how far I have come.

So I am excited to see how my body changes in phase 3!! Glad you are all here with me!!

When I look over my past two weeks I am seeing such small losses, I am considering stopping at six weeks. I am thinking with going into P3 after not really following protocol like I should have is going to make it hard. As well I am going to be on holidays, making P3 even more difficult. I am hoping to survive the next month and then jump into a new round around the 10th of July.

My total goal is for 40 pounds, and if the next round I could stick closer to protocal, possibly I will be able to lose the final 20. I am very proud of the fact that I have lost 20 pounds, feel so much better and have found that I can do with out breads, pasta or rice.

Brenlyn, Breanna, SuperT and Lainey you guys have all done so well and I am thinking I will join you in P3 this upcoming Thursday.

Lainey all in all looking at your numbers you are stablizing. I think that it has to be challenging not to add things in too fast.

When do you guys that are going on to another round anticipate you will be doing so? I am thinking somewhere around July 10th, any of you having a date similar to that?

I plan on starting Round 2 on July 19 (at least that's what I have penciled in on my calendar). I think a good long break between P2 and the next round is necessary. It seems that our bodies are all doing about the same ..... not really losing at the end here.

Looking forward to P3! Sounds like there will be several of us! I start P3 on Monday.

    Begin R1: 235
    Begin R2: 218.5
    Begin R3: 207.0
    Begin R4: 204.5

Sara, I was thinking about going back to Phase 2 by the end of June but will do some research before I decide. It seems like I have read about people doing Phase 3 for 3 weeks and then going back to Phase 2. Right now I have read so much in so many places, I may have dreamed that! LOL I will let you know what I find out and what I decide.

Lainey, are you keeping track of what you eat and are you tracking calories, protein, carbs, and fat?

Sara, I think the break will do us good and we will be able to come back and lose the rest of what we need in Round 2.

Also I have some HCG ordered that will be here in another week and I need to find out how long it will keep.

SuperT, I just read what you wrote about taking a full six weeks before the next round and that does make sense. Have you had any trouble with losing your hair? I know some do and that freaked me out so much I almost didn't do HCG. No problem so far but wondering if there are supplements I should add on phase 3 to help.

SuperT, I think you commented about me doing injections and I never responded. My HCG came 2 days before the kit with the needles and all got here and I just couldn't wait that long to get started. I did sublingual and added Vitamin B12 and Colloidal Silver to the HCG. I may do injections next round but not really that fond of shots.

If I stop this Thursday then my six weeks will be exactly July 19th. I may start the Monday just before the 19th just so that I am on a Monday start. As well I want to load on a Saturday , Sunday.

I am happy that I am half way to my goal.

Breeana let me know what you find out about going from P3 back to P2 after just a 3 week or so break. As I have not been strict to protocol and will be on vacation for a good part of my P3 I would be interested in that as soon as I get back because I am thinking that my P3 might be very difficult.

Having said that I plan on doing a second round much closer to protocol with the only changes being a wee bit more protien and some veggie mixing.

Starting a next round after P3 is called cycling and there is a whole section on the forum for it, so you can check it out. It works for some. I think my hair has been ok. I have always lost a ton of hair, but I have a lot of it. I take homeopathic drops too.

I lost 1.2 today, finally! I am stopping the drops though, have a dinner planned with friends on Weds. and DH keeps saying, "when are we gonna drink this wine?" lol! Not that I don't want to! I will just be satisfied where I am for most of this summer, it is 45lbs lighter than I was before I started in Feb.

I use sparkpeople to track my food. In P3 it is useful just to see if you have a gain what food you might be sensitive too.

One more thing about round 2, for me it was easier in some ways, some ways harder! I knew I had already done a round and succeeded. I knew I wouldn't die on eating only 500 calories, lol. I think I cheated less this round, but had smaller losses and that can be frustrating, but that is how round 2 is for most people. I also kept thinking of all the lovely fatty, yummy things I was allowed to eat in P3. I went 37 days this time, which is actually 2 days longer than my first round and lost a little less.

Super t I plan on sticking more to protocol in my 2nd round. Yes it is a learning curve for sure, I went into this thinking I would starve at 500 calories so I did 800 calories and had good losses. I was never hungry. I had been on ww and was starving every single day! So I know the drops works as does the limited carbs and fats ect combined with the drops. I have read the nay sayers who say yeah anyone loses when they go down to 500 or even 800 calories in my case...but they do so white knuckling it hungry and I never felt that way. So I am a HCG believer and am happy with my experience.

I plan on doing a more traditional hcg closer to the 500 calories in my second round.

I am tracking everything on Livestrong - I just can't bring myself to just eat unlimited fats like everyone seems to tell you to do. I concentrate more on good fats instead of saturated or trans.
I have a hard time eating enough so I do need to track calories to make sure I'm getting enough. When you eat correctly (lots of fruits and veggies) it's difficult to get to enough calories without piling on the fat - uggghhh! I know my body needs fat and I've eaten nuts, olive oils, fatty fish, and things like avocados for a few years now to up my fat intake a bit. My LDL is good and my HDL is fantastic so I don't want to mess those up. This has been relatively easy for me because I changed my eating habits a couple of years ago and a lot of it is just habit for me now. I still can't wrap my brain around everyone telling me I need to put butter on my veggies, etc. I tried the first couple of days on P3 and just didn't enjoy my food - lol! Who knew I could get rid of that craving for fat!
I am having more of a problem not having starch as every single day for breakfast I would have Kroger Carbmaster Vanilla yogurt, assorted berries, and All Bran cereal. I miss my cereal That was the only grains/starches I ate on a regular basis. I've never been fond of bread or white potatoes. I do miss beans and will probably try adding those and my cereal back in in P4. I can't wrap my brain around what I perceive to be an unacceptable lack of fiber in this diet.

It sounds like everyone id doing great and heading to P3. I'm going to go check those threads

Lainey I so hear you about the unlimited fats...I can't do that. I have had a lifetime of watching fats for my health. With a father and family history of heart disease, I cannot do that. I will be doing what I can with nuts and avocado ect. I do not do butter or bacon.
