Hi everyone. So it's been a couple days since I have been on, Let me just feel everyone in real fast. i feel bad because round 1 all throughout every phase I was very active with the forum how ever, this round has been harder.i want to do that but I have taken on a lot more responsibility with a grandfather that is terminally ill and taken a turn for the worst over the last little bit, soon top of him and that,I am trying to get through this round without it being a waste of time and money, plus taking care of four kids by myself ( with all their sports cause they all play something if not somethings. lol). So please stick with me,I do catch up on all post when I am able to get on.

Sounds like there have been lot's of ups and downs as we all strive to reach our goals. Remember those last pounds of stored fat to get rid of are the hardest to loose. Everyone hang in there I know we can all do it. Phase 3 is right around the corner so let's just all stay buckled down and see what we can get our body's to do.

Here is my update now, I struggled and struggled for over a week now to hit my 175. I have been so close. So Saturday I was 175.4, Then Sunday no loss same dang 175.4 so I did a mini steak day to see if I coul get that .4 and woke up to the happiest surprise ever yesterday. 174.8 I broke the 175. 175 has been my goal for so long it felt incredible to finale reach it. Then this morning another pound loss even with little sleep, so I am now 173.8. This is the smallest I have been in over 11 years, pretty much my whole adult life and for the first time since starting hcg in February I tried on a new piece of clothing. I was a size 14/16 in pants and yesterday I was able to put a size 10 shorts on I wore in 2002. That was exciting for me. I am not sure how many days I have in my bottle I am on VLCD Day 20 so I think I have 7 to 10 days left.I plan on sticking it out full force until my injections are done then what ever weight I am at I am stopping whether that be the weight I am right now or another 10pounds lighter lol. I feel wonderful and for the first time in way to many years I don't feel fat.

    Round 1 = 30 pound loss
    R2P2VLCD Day 1-5 185.6 to 180.2 (-5.4 pounds)
    R2P2VLCD Day 5-10 180.2 to 179.2 ( -1.0pound)
    R2P2VLCD Day 10-15 179.2 to 175.6 (-3.6 pounds)
    R2P2VLCD Day 15-20 175.6 to 173.8 (-1.8 pounds)
    R2P2VLCD Day 21 174.8
    R2P2VLCD Day 22 173.4
    R2P2VLCD Day 23
    R2P2VLCD Day 24

Just wanted to check in. I had a gain of 1 lb that brought me to 193 for my LDW. I lost this morning and am down to 191.2. I am just waiting to get to P3! I plan on the same egg breakfast as last P3 and am so excited!

Great job beatty! You must feel so good!

I was really shocked to find a .4 lbs. loss this morning. That's great! Puts me at 127.6. I can only attribute it to the small bit of cocoa crack yesterday. I did reduce my fruit intake to account for the extra calories from the c.c. I'm eager for Friday's Last Day Weigh-in. Already stocking my pantry with P3-friendly foods! ~Violingirl

After being discouraged about the stall for 5 days last week, I cheated a little this weekend, but to my surprise I have lost the past 3 days and am down to 168 I hate that today is my last day wearing the patch, getting ready to start P3 this weekend. I plan on making a huge omelet for breakfast... mmmm. My goal was 170, I was 165 when I graduated HS, so I am pretty happy with what I have gotten down to, especially since I was 200 during Christmas. I think working out throughout this whole thing has allowed my skin to tighten up pretty fast. I was able to wear my size 32 swimming trunks at the pool this weekend and they were loose. Last year this time, the 34's were very tight

I'm sorry I haven't been on in a while. Life gets busy sometimes, doesn't it? I have been lurking though, and trying to stay caught up with all of you.

Beatty - Great job! You should be so proud of yourself, especially with all you have to deal with. Congratulations!

Hardee - I'm so sorry for all you're going through. My prayers are with you. Congratulations on sticking to the diet (and the cleanse, thanks for your input on that...very helpful to me!) through all of this! Halfway to your goal and into the 140s! Awesome!

April - Congrats on the bikini! I'm right there about wanting to lose just 5 pounds more, and I have 7 days to do it. Good luck!

Violingirl - Maybe I should consider the cocoa crack myself. Congrats on your loss today.

Goofy - Hope you start seeing some major losses now that you figured out why you weren't losing. Good luck!

Angella - Great job on the 2.5 pound loss yesterday!

Bobbi - I did a detox too, and it really helped me. Good luck!

Melrose - Congratulations on a very successful round! I hear you on wanting to get below the 140 mark, but you should be very proud of yourself! Enjoy your first days of P3!

I'm in the one day down 1 pound, the next day up .2...very frustrating! It happened to me last round too, although it was later. I did break into the 120s though, and I am thrilled! I haven't weighed this little since 2006, when I got in shape before my 40th birthday. I'm at 129 and would LOVE to get to 123, so I can have a couple pounds to play with and stay below 125. I'm only 5'3, so according to the charts, I could go into the teens, but I think I would like to keep some of my curves. I only have 7 days left, so I don't think it will happen, but I'll be happy with a few more pounds.

Good luck to everyone today! I know it's hard but you are doing a wonderful thing for your body!

What a great hommage to your Dad! I'm sure you were very special to him too! You are definietely not alone!

Ask him for his help in this situation...I still ask my parents, and sometimes a wave of calm and comfort comes over me, and I know they are there in their own way.

I still think of my parents every single day and it has been years.

Congrats on the halfway point woooohooooooooooo!!!

beatty: So sorry to hear about your Grandfather, yet look what you have accomplished through all that...he must be so proud of you...I am!!! Sz 10 sure feels good doesn't it??? I am still hover between it and size 12 LOL.

vg, angella, mel and julz way to go YAY!!!

April: you skinny mini in the bikini!!!

Toasty: I toast you on your great loss!!!

vial: Thanks for your good wishes you other skinny mini wow!

gn: good luck you can do it!

Hello to all hopefully I didn't miss anyone!!!

AFM, ½ the bloat, whatever, is down. I will remain on my planned interruption a bit longer...I have read that it should be between 4 and 10 days, so I will play it by ear. At worse, I will stall but at least lose the carb cravings I hope.

Yesterday, I did the lemon juice detox with maple syrup and lost. I have since found out that you can use cinnamon instead of the syrup, so I am doing that today...Lord knows I don't need to crave sugar.

I am actually feeling quite good and my allergy symptoms are way down...coincidence? I think not...

Goal this round 160: losses include loading day 1 = vcld 1

    Good Morning Everyone,

I am slow but steady. I guess that is good. I keep having visions of me, being skinny. I really hope I can hang in there and make it a reality before I am 60. I was very encouraged last night by the seasonal finale of Biggest Loser last night.

Hardee~Thanks for the info on the Almond Milk. I was talking with my daughter and she uses it for the grand kids and said they love it. I am going to try it. btw Great Job!

    Violingirl~Wow 127!! In my dreams!

April~I am going to have to give the Cocoa Crack recipe a try.
Accomplishing the impossible is all about seeing the invisible.

Good morning all! I'm down 1.5 lbs this morning. I had a full piece of cocoa crack last night, rather than 1/2 piece. I can safely say this is not coincidence for me now. I still think small amounts are helpful to me but I won't go over 1 full piece of my cocoa crack (roughly 1.5 tsp). I can also safely say that when I reach 140, I'm done. I have quite a bit of muscle mass compared to when I was 23 years old and I think 135 would leave me looking skeletal. Not a sexy look imho. In fact once I reach 140 and go to P3, I intend to put on more muscle. My hubby and I signed up for the Warrior Dash (all obstacles thru mud run) which will require a bit more strength on my part. And I've signed up for the Dirty Girls run as well which is a lesser form of the Warrior Dash. I'm very excited to be thinner and have the strength to do these. My dear daughter is my greatest champion who cheers me on for this though she can't understand why in the world her momma would want to get muddy. LMAO She's a girly girl and I'm not I tell her. Still, she shrugs her shoulders and says I'm not hugging you until you take a shower mommy. Fair enough. lol

My husband and my Dad were best buddies too and did a lot together. He was almost as bad as me when he passed away. You're right it takes years to get somewhat back on track. I lost my Mom 10 yrs before and it took me years to feel just ok with it. My parents were married 50 yrs so I am all about family. Grandpop was the kids best friend too so our house has been through the wringer in the last 2 yrs. I so do not need renter trouble when I am just now beginning to get it together. I have no brothers or sisters so I am pretty much alone with all this. Dad would know what to do, rent again or sell. I relied on him too much so now I am lost in figuring it out by myself. I know you understand why I really don't want to sell the house either. I lived there my whole life. I also can't handle seeing it destroyed. It really is an emotional thing. Still having the house makes me feel connected to my parents and my childhood. I am so sorry that you lost your Dad and best friend too. It really is a horrible thing to deal with. You are apparently emotional and sensitive like I am and I do feel we suffer the most because it really hits us hard. Thank you so much for sharing your loss with me. It reminds me that I'm not alone and others have and are going through this too
Denise, I'm quite "sensitive". I hate being this way truly. I feel others pain as though it were my own at times. Its overwhelming at times. *sigh* Nothing for it I guess, but just to recharge after being there for someone. I find walks in the woods to be a good recharge or kayaking (when I can). Dad and I used to go for long walks/hikes and we barely spoke a word while doing it. We didn't need to. We both understood each other and no words were needed to express the enjoyment we had at marvelling at a beautiful lake or copse of trees where the sun shown through to the ferns below. Its my dad's fault I love nature so much! LOL Anyway, I know you're still grieving and dealing with the loss in addition to the jerks causing ruin to things that had meaning for you. Try to find time to decompress and reconnect. Your dad is still with you. Only now you'll have to feel him in your heart rather than see him with your eyes.

Violin - lmao yeah I love my cocoa crack like that too. Thank goodness I've reined myself in and don't eat too much (out of fear mainly) in one day.

beatty - you go girl!!! Feels awesome to be in smaller clothes, doesn't it? Proud of ya!!

vial - you'll get there!! .2 is small. could be just water retention or lack of good BM. lol I think you're doing great!

bobbi - I'm going to have to try that lemon cinnamon thingy you mentioned. What do you do again? I have allergies that kick my butt this year!

t0asty - yay on loose shorts! whoohoo!!

April, I really got a laugh out of your girly-girl post LOL!!!

The detox is basically the Master Cleanse or Lemonade diet...some ppl do 10 days of it!!!

    1. So I took a big Wendy's cup (like the old movie theatre promos)...it must hold at least 2½-3 cups...if not more.
    2. then I added filtered water --no distilled or chlorinated
    3. I added fresh lemon juice = a few slices and grated some zest into it (I put the lemon in boiling water 1st to kill germs, to remove the wax and to get the juices flowing --don't nuke it)
    4. Yesterday I put grade B Maple syrup about 2 tblsp and cinnamon, today I used cinnamon only 1/8- ¼ tsp...I don't measure.
    5. a pinch of cayenne pepper...I think the recipe said 1/10 tsp.

You are supposed to drink 10-12 cups...I wasn't hungry at all...don't forget that I am doing it during a planned interruption= no drops.

I just sipped on it most of the day...I also added a couple of cups of tea during the day. I stopped everything at 8 p.m. You are supposed to drink it when you get up and then when you are hungry.

You are not supposed to make a big batch ahead of time, because it kills the enzymes...I made it ahead yesterday because I was at work. Today, I drank a big cup this a.m.

I decided since I am not putting maple syrup in it, I probably do not have enough calories, so I added 3 huge handfuls of spinach, half a small carton of egg whites (about 1 cup), and 2 handfuls of blueberries and I blended everything in the Vitamix.

I will probably eat vegetable soup with some protein tonight.

Goal this round 160: losses include loading day 1 = vcld 1
