Tomorrow is my 40th injection, I am down 14 lbs. I would like to loose a couple more. You said 40 injections is the max so I just want to confirm I can't go a few more days? Under the belief tomorrow is my last day I start 72 hours no injections same diet. Then Thursday morning after 72 hrs I start eating butter, oil steak etc. I can add cheese but do for 3 days checking weight to see if up. If it goes up stop cheese then try egg?

The protocol states that 40 injections is the maximum. You may lose a couple more pounds in the 72 hours without HCG. However, most people don't get to keep that loss. It just makes for a nice cushion going into P3. That can be very welcome if you have a volatile time on the scale for a few days.

The 72 hours starts at your last injection. So if that is Monday morning, then P3 starts Thursday morning.

You are going to have some regain once you start P3, so what you are looking for on the cheese test is a big jump. Like a couple pounds. That would mean a cheese fail. A few incremental ounces would not signify a fail the first couple of days.

Once you are satisfied that you know how cheese affects you (not at all, some--so only eat occasionally, or causes big gains) you can move on to the next test.

Is there anything I can do these last 72 hours to increase losses? I did not make my goal and would like to loose more. When 72 hours is up what do you usually eat? Best to increase healthy fats steak butter avocado...would u wait a couple of days to see what happens before adding cheese?what about alcohol how can I add it back in?
How much have you lost so far?

Not really. Besides, your LIW is taken the last day of your injections, so it doesn't matter what you lose during the 72 hours. But whatever it is, Dr. Simeons says it is a different kind of loss and you will regain it. You can try to lose more once you get finished with P3. You can have a goal weight in mind, but you really can't control the rate at which HCG will get you there. So you have to be realistic about setting goals.

You can eat whatever you like, as long as you don't include starch or sugar. You have a good plan. I like add cream in my coffee and some full fat greek yogurt the first day. Avocados, bacon and cocoa crack are always on the menu day 1 as well.

would u wait a couple of days to see what happens before adding cheese?
Yes, unless you are pretty sure you are ok with dairy and want to start out with at as your first test. Personally, my first week is often pretty volatile without testing, so I've learned to put off any real testing until week 2.

what about alcohol how can I add it back in?
You can have a glass of wine with dinner. Some people that think they are fruit sensitive will count it as a fruit for the day.

How much have you lost so far?
I'm down 12.5 pounds so far. Another 2 to get to goal. I'm feeling pretty good about that.

Are you saying after phase 3 I can do another round of hcg or I can do basic diet? How many days is phase 3? Is phase 4 forever? Do you treat vodka like wine? Do you limit fruit in phase 3 or try to just eat one a day?

You have to wait the appropriate times between HCG rounds. That includes P3 plus whatever extra is specified (P4). However, once you are finished with the 21 days of P3 and are into P4 (which is just another name for your normal lifelong maintenance period) you can diet any other way you like.

Vodka is not wine. You'll just have to test and see how you do if thats something you want to try. Some people will do well with it, some will not.

You don't have to limit fruit in P3. The only thing the protocol says about it is to be careful with the sweeter fruits. Its better to not try to do P3 via a formula that someone else has put together for themselves, or thinks is a good idea from whatever diet "truths" they've come to believe. Try to listen to your body, eat what is appealing to you and stop when you are satisfied (not full, not stuffed). Eat again when you are hungry. Some people limit their fruit in P3. Its really up to you. I have found that I can eat up to 5 fruit servings a day in P3 with no issues. Jmmrr doesn't eat any and feels that works best for her.

You need to skip a day of dosing, and the hunger and poor losses are an indication your dose is off. Don't change your dose without doing the skip day

Since you are not dosing in the morning, you'll need to look to the time 8-10 hours after you administer your dose to check hunger levels. If better, then dose should be lowered. If hunger is worse at that time, then raise your dose the next day.

Ok today and yesterday hunger levels were actually quite good..mostly not hungry and satisfied after meals but weight loss still STUNK..200grams. (less than1/2 lb). so I think my dose is ok..cos of the hunger issue but the loss issue...? do you still think I should skip a day? the past 2 days I injected 120 instead of 125
