Thread: Stalled maybe female cycle?

    Stalled maybe female cycle?

I gained 7 pounds during load (which was quite a shock!) and today is day VLCD9. I stalled once for 3 days, then dropped 1.3#. Stalled again and I haven't even gotten back to my lowest drop weight of previous cycle.

Honestly, I feel like eating alllllthethings right now and I'm on day 26 of my cycle. I don't have any hunger so it's not a dose issue. But I am craving things, and really just want to eat everything. Could these stalls be my impending cycle? And if so I am likely not to lose anything for the next 2 days then huh?

    Yuck!

I have deviated slightly from the OP but only things that have always worked before (slightly extra protein, mct oil, kale chips)

Part of what keeps things easier mentally is the drop on the scale each morning, this has been not so much fun.

The good thing is this round has been quite easy and I am no where near as weak since adding the Potassium and drinking a little less.

    Hi Splunky!.. =)
I'm new to this HCG stuff so I'm dropping by the forums to check out the pros and cons based on actual users' experiences before actually jumping on the bandwagon. I was able to encounter HCG while browsing for ways to lose weight. This type of losing weight seems interesting. However, I'd like to have as much bases covered before I actually go for it. Since your thread made mention of the female cycle, I'm a bit curious if it would be fine to go on the HCG diet despite having irregular menstrual cycle?..

Hoping to hear from you.. =)

I think it might actually help restore some normalcy to your cycle since this is very cleansing and healing. But I don't know what your circumstance is personally so can't say for sure. But I don't see an issue with using this as a way to lose weight, cleanse your system, and begin healthier relationship with food!

The body changes, Splunky, so alterations to the protocol that worked before don't always continue to work. Dr. Simeons tested things to come up with the protocol that works for everyone every time. You might try doing strict protocol and see if you can get things moving. Good luck!

himeluna, Splunky is right about it maybe helping and even if it doesn't, your cycle or lack of cycle isn't an issue. Many of us are post menopause with no cycle at all and it still works.

That's nice to know. If it could regulate my cycle, then that's like hitting two birds with one stone..
Thanks for the info . =)

Grammy, I was thinking about that as well. I will be super strict for a few days and pray that works. Altho my cycle is supposed to start tomorrow so i won't really know which worked. Either way, I will be happy with losses! Not so fun doing this with no scale loss!! I am focusing on the internal healing thats happening as a result even if I don't lose pounds.
    Thanks!

And stalls are a normal part of the protocol so hopefully you'll get a nice whoosh!

I tightened up what i was doing, plus my cycle started and I'm 99% sure I've lost several pounds. Traveled for 3 days so don't have a scale so will see for sure in the morning but I'm feeling MUCH less swollen and I stepped on the scale at 4pm and I was 1 # less. I'm usually 3# less in the morn than in the eve. So yay!
