    Oh.. think about just 1/2 an apple too... depending on your hunger... And if you eat an apple, make sure you don't eat it twice in the same day... hmmm you are already doing that I think.

    I think the key thing here is to 'change it up', so to speak... meaning, give yourself some variety to keep the body on it's toes. There is a another benefit, too... you can find things that bother you... which could be helpful in P3. An example is... I found out in P2 that I can not eat beef and tomatoes together, it makes me gain -- I have NO idea why! *shrugs* LOL. So many mysteries and so little time, *sigh*

    Now about the stall... changing your food around a little may help, like I suggested... but frequently you just have to wait it out. I know it is aggrevating... and almost everyone gets them. So you are in good company!

    Seems like I listed everything. What is your opinion about coconut oil, just curious

    Alot of people stall with cabbage... another thing, you technically had 3 "fruits" yesterday... apple, grapefruit and tomato. I agree about the strawberries... far less calories and carbs. Perhaps try subbing with the strawberries, cut out the cabbage and be careful with the tomato if you are already eating 2 fruits. As for coconut oil, I've used it daily for a long time, I still use 1tsp a day in P2 but didn't in my first round.
    Round 1- RX Sublingual (Lost 15 lbs but flubbed on P3, so now I'm back again)

    Round 2- HHCG Pellets
    Week 1- Lost 12 Pounds
    9/26- VLCD8 (-0.0)
    9/27- VLCD9 (up 2 lbs, darn peanut butter)
    9/28- VLCD10 (lost the peanut butter lbs plus an additional .2)

    Ya cabbage, good call, cruisegirl... I forgot about that. Cabbage is a main stay on P2 for me, but yes it does bother some people.

    Hello everyone! Maybe you all can help me too! I have been following protocol and today I am up 1lb from yesterday's weight! AHH! I was stalling for a couple of days and then yesterday it broke and I lost 1.8lbs and then today it said I gained 1 lb. I have no idea what I am doing wrong. For the past couple of days I have been eating cucumbers, and broccoli as my veggies, and no fruits. Is their anything I should do to start losing again? Is it normal for this weight fluctuation to happen? I am on VLCD25 and I am on the 43 day program.

    hmmmmm *thinks*..... that seems like a kind of radical change in P2... broccoli is not strictly on the protocol, but a lot of people eat it. I assume you are drinking enough. What other combinations of foods are you eating? Maybe you can get back here and post what you have been eating for that last 2-3 days.

    Also... if you need a refresher on the foods... check the link in my signature. My friend Heather put together a great website.

    OH... just thought of something.. how is the battery in your scale... or maybe the scale itself is messing up?

    Is broccoli not on the protocol? It says in my packet I got from Nu Image that it is. Well that could be it!
    I was eating the same thing for a while. Chicken and sliced tomatoes for lunch. Steak and an orange for dinner. But then I hit the stall so I decided to switch it up. So I had chicken and cucumber slices for lunch and steak and steamed broccoli for dinner. The first day I switched up what I was eating was when I lost 1.8lbs out of the stall. Then today it said I gained 1lb. I have tested my scale and it is accurate. The scale is new so I wouldn't think the battery would be going out already.

    Changing up is good... it might be a real stall too... so there is not much you can do, but wait it out sometimes

    Hello, I am staying away from grapefruits from now on. Also, limiting apples. Feeling better, and after a week long stall, I lost 2 lb. The reason? Magnesium citrate! Thank you Steveo, I got two bottles, they were on special, I took the last ones. Now, the question is, how many should I take to keep really regular, nicely regular? I took yesteday at least three, plus the herbal lax. tea, went finally..No wonder, by the end of the day I was down 2 lb!
    But still, how many is enough? Or, rather, how many is too many? Are there any side effects, beside the obvious, if I take too many of the pills? Or whatever amount is ok, once I find my perfect number of pills required to keep my body 'happy'.

    I can not advise you on how much Magnesium Citrate to take... I take Natural Calm and it is designed to take everyday... maybe consult the info for the brand you took. Or post a question in the urgent help thread... someone maybe able to advise.

    Has anyone ever had mustard stall them? It might be a coincidence, but I started on Monday the 19th of Sept and by the 27th I had lost 18 lbs. On Wednesday the 28th, I didn't lose any weight from the day before. This morning, the 29th, I was one pound heavier. I haven't changed anything in my diet in the least bit except for adding French's Yellow Mustard to my spinach leaves. It has 0 cal, 0 fat, 0 sugar, 0 every thing and has no hidden sugars that I'm aware of. I also barely use any, not even probably as much as the serving size (a teaspoon). So could this really be the problem, or is this probably just one of those "normal stalls"?

    I dont know if there is sodium in prepared mustard. If so, it could be what's showing a gain for you. Other than that I have used it from time to time with no noticable issues. Could it be that you just lost so much weight so fast that your body just is taking a break to reshape. Maybe nothing to do with the mustard at all. Just a thought.
