    I have done it before. The diet works great!
    I had a baby and now trying to lose the last 20lbs.
    Let's post our weight and what we eat each day. That way it can help us keep track.
    I am loading today:
    Peanut butter(4 tablespoons) sandwich with jelly.
    Chocolate eggs.
    Coffee with evaporated milk.
    Going to Olive Garden tonight! Sky's the limit.

    This is my second round did ok the first one but slipped up towards then end and only lost about 16 lbs. But I kept that off during the three weeks I was off. I loaded Saturday and Sunday this is my first VLCD. My sister lost over 49 lbs doing two rounds and I am using her as an inspiration. Good Luck

    I averaged just under 1 lb/day and never had a stall! I am definitely the exception though, it sounds like stalls are pretty normal. (I did the 6 wk protocol). The apple day is more for your mindset according to Grammy and others...you basically just have to wait it out. There were some days that I didn't lose anything, but just a few and they were sporadic. I don't think you can really do the loading 'wrong'...just eat more than you normally would and you'll be good to go!

    Hi Heather: Count me in! I am also a newbie to the boards and forum. Like you, I also loaded Saturday and Sunday taking advantage of the holiday treats. I am new to HCG and have researched this for a few months before deciding to proceed with this. Wishing us all a great start! Will be looking forward to watching everyone's progress as well.

    Hi all,

    Down 2.4 today which is exciting. My first VLCD went well, no hunger and being at home was pretty easy. I go back to work today so I have to face my 45 minute commute with empty hands - particularly hard coming home. We have a dining room at work where I get lunch so I'm going to head to the salad greens and grilled chicken.

    Lost 2.7 today! Yay! Did okay yesterday on VLCD1, no hunger but did have the usual bad headache at night and when I woke up today. My one yr old woke up at midnight so had to go calm him down and then my 3 yr old came in my bed in the middle of the night and at 4 am we all woke up cuz he peed the bed! UGHHH!!! So-had I gotten a decent night's sleep I might've had an even bigger # today. I am having chili for lunch and lean pork chops for dinner! Trying to ease into the chicken and fish, since I ate it so much 1st round I have a bit of an aversion to it now. How did you all do this morning?

    Hi Debst - ohhhh, I remember those days! The menu sounds good and I know what you mean about getting an aversion from this...I hated spinach for months because I would eat bags of raw spinach to control my munching. What kind of chili? I had grilled chicken sliced with greens and then grilled cobia and greens for dinner. The fish was delicious. Started the day with sliced apples with cinnamon in the microwave and two bites of last night's steak. Didn't have hunger today but I am looking forward to my strawberries tonight.

    Hope you have a pee free bed tonight and get a good nights sleep!

    Hi all! I'll be joining u all as well
    So rough start... Did well yesterday... A little over 500 calls but within protocol.
    Today I bombed. Ate well until after work... I always fall apart when I get home. My boyfriend is working away and I was feeling lonely and upset so I binged... Which is a common problem for me that I'm hoping this protocol will help me handle. Aside from hunger, emotions and plain cravings are the triggers.
    Anyway.. I just want to start VLCD again tomorrow. No more all or nothing mindset... Just get back up and keep going. I hope participating in this thread and forum can make the difference?
    Sounds like you've all already had big and small successes so far!

    I was down 2lbs today which I was happy to see. Since this is my first go I'm still trying to figure everything out. The last two nights I'm starting to feel hungry around 10pm. I hope this gets easier :/

    Hi Amy and Wizard!

    I relate about the lonely and upset eating. I'm working on replacing those bad eating habits which resulted in me regaining 10 pounds after my 2nd round last spring/summer. I'm self-hypnotizing myself that when I feel that way, i like to take a walk instead, I like to draw, I love to drink a glass of water...and the biggest thing is that I don't watch TV or movies during the week...so that has really helped.I'm also doing a spiritual thing and turning to those resources instead...listening to stuff on my iPad, reading etc.

    Amy, yay on the loss. I drink herbal tea for nightime cravings and stay out of the kitchen!

    I'm down 1.4 today, yay. Feeling good and strong. Less stress this week at work because my case load is small so I am enjoying that.

    One more thing...for me this diet is an allergy elimination thing as it forces me to stop eating foods I'm allergic too and I have found that to be the source of cravings...I'm really just missing tastes and I can go without that for awhile to stay healthy.
