Thread: Starting 01/01/14. Anyone else?

    I am thinking I should quit my job when I am on this diet. I am up from Tuesday morning to Wednesday night then from Friday morning to sunday morning, I get a 3 or 4 hour nap on the weekend but that is it. I know how important sleep is for this diet and I just cant get it due to the kids being home during the day and my husbands work schedule. I feel like I have not really lost much. My preload was 160.8 post load was 163.8, I am on vlcd 13 and at 154.6. I will say I have put a little dent in the junk food in this house, not me eating it my husband and kids. I told them that there will be no more of it after this round. No more prepackaged boxed crap meals. Ok my rant is over on with my life

    Sleep would definitely help. R u tracking your food, drinking water, and eating pop? Totally agree about the prepackaged stuff.

    I had similar starve all day/eat all afternoon habits in high school too. The weight didn't catch up to me until my early 20's, after I had my son.     Congrats on your virgin fat territory and I can imagine how proud you must feel for reaching this point. That's awesome!

    Round 2 - 17.8 pounds gone!
    (I don't plan to "find" that weight again so I don't consider it "lost")

    Why are all of you so hung up on the # of fat grams I posted, who cares.
    THE POINT I WAS MAKING WAS TOTALLY LOST, I really dont' care how much fat you all eat!!

    I guess the hcg is making us edgy ?

    Second attempt at posting server error 500 fun!
    Got to sleep till 5 am, woo hoo, only waking twice

    UNFORTUNATELY, I gained .2. I went like a 100 over on veg yesterday so no more of that.

    Today, buckling down. Spinach at luch: mush less calories and my go to dinner: Cabbage soup
    No Melbas today.

    Think I will go out for more water today. Supposed to be colder tomorrow and 35 today!

    Well, after losing 4 lbs in 3 days (in week 3!!!), I anticipated a gain this morning. I was correct. Up .6. I'm not concerned. I have grown accustomed to the ups and downs of this round. When in doubt, I look at the overall picture -- down more than 12 pounds in 17 days. I'm good with that.

    Way to stay positive and ur so close!

    Afm protein day yesterday down 2.2 hoping scale dsnt back fire tomorrow. Eating pretty plain today, steak n hamburger rolled into meatballs sans the melba as my entrees. Have a good day everyone, almost Friday!!

    Well I am finally in the 240'S at 249.2! Now the trick is to see if it will allow me to make a downwardd trend and not start trying to reclimb the ladder. I was here afte day 9 and my system and the HCG apparently have been having problems allowing me to go further down. Its been a coninuous you from 49.8 up to 250.0 and then a constant hover from 251.8 to 250.0 or 250.2.

    I know its been ssaid that if you were at a certain weight in your past for a constant period of time that your body may get there and try to continue to hold on to it. I am patient and determined to succeed on this round and do one more if possible. I was just hoping to get down at least one clothing size. I am not looking at pounds but I am definitely into losing inches as much as possible.

    I try not to get hung up on pounds if I can at least see some inches coming off but when I know that I am faithful and POP and nothing gives either way that does get frustrating. I will continue to do what I am doing and I have promised myself there is NO Cheating...that is not an option! I must succeed for my life and my health.

    Best wishes for continued success to everyone.....This is definitely the most active thread I have ever been on....whoooooo I had to do some catching up reading from just being off the thread half of yesterday. :-)

    I just noticed something weird has happened. My number of posts has changed to only a couple of hundred? Go Figure....that's totally wrong!
