WaterNai, what a nice kick to be on! Hoping the Whoosh Fairy comes your way!

AFM, I had a gain today of +0.7. I've been a very good sport about the scale, but have you ever had those days when you just KNOW you've lost weight? Well that was me this morning, so yeah, I was a bit dissappointed, but just because the scale didn't get the memo is not my problem. I'm heading into my 5th and final week of P2 and seeing that my body really likes 129 lbs. That's cool. I'm ready to live life in maintenance!

May I join you in the snail race?

May I join you all? I'm super late to jump in, as I technically only have 6 more shots to go, though I'm 4.8 pounds away from my ultimate goal. I am a 34 year old mother of three goobers, happily married to their daddy, and this is my 3rd round!!!

Anyhow...I thought I'd join you all in the "snail-race" of those last wicked pounds. As I said, I have only 6 injections left for my short 23 day round (last 2 were long rounds), and know my goal of 115 is not very likely. So I will have to decide whether to just be happy with what I get, or purchase a few more shots. I haven't quite decided yet...right now it's just day by day, I guess.

I see that you and I are really close in weight left to lose in just a few shots left. Let's keep rock'n it, with the little time we've got left!

    Round 1-Start weight in 2011 was 142lbs.
Round 8-just as annual cleanup round 2017
R8--Goal to get to 120, maintain at 123lbs.

    Starting a Vanity Round

Welcome upnorth I'm good where I am and look at the next week as a time to lock it in. If I lose more, great, if not no big deal. I'm in a very good place physically & emotionally.

Kansas, I thought spaghetti squash was a starchy food we couldn't have until P4. Maybe I'm wrong. I hope you figure out what's causing the gain.

I don't know where I got the idea it was okay, EITHER WAY, the rest is getting composted!!
I had this issue in the last p3, but not this bad.
I'm "stepping away from the S. Squash"!

Looks like you are losing well, good job.

Randy: ya ya, better "pass" soon

I found a list of starch veggies at: http://www.livestrong.com/article/25...carbohydrates/

    Winter Squash

Squash is another starchy vegetable that is technically a fruit. Hard squashes include acorn, butternut and spaghetti. Spaghetti squash make a good substitute for pasta, with just 4 g of carbohydrate per 1/2-cup serving, according to the Carbs Information website.

    Hi, all.

Wierd on the spaghetti squash. I just found my old notes on P3 and I have a list of ok things for P3 from a book I bought to help me with P3 the first time around. The author has spaghetti squash listed as a carb with little/no starch and ok for P3. So, who knows?!

Maria, you sound like you are doing good. 129 is one of the numbers my body seems to like to stop at as well. But, I did just find my old "hcg folder" with my measurements and my notes and I had gotten down to 126.4 at the end of one of my rounds! I would love to be back there again.....but, we'll see where I end up at from this 40 day round that I am on now. My guess is that it will be in the 130s.

I am so bad at remembering my varying weights......But, I just was going thru boxes and found old Weight Watchers weigh in cards and was surprised to see one of my starting weights as 146.8.....in my "memory": I have never weighed that! I still think of my ideal weight as 115....but that was from back in my high school days.....isn't it funny what our minds get stuck on? My husband thinks I would look terrible @ 115! God love him! He did like 126.4 tho as I remember.....

So, I am looking forward to P3 which is still 13 days away for me. arrrgghhhh: seems so long but I know it will get here before I know it. It just seems that sometimes these P2 days moooove soooo slowly!

The doc said on Monday that my foot is much better. I see him again on Friday. He thinks I will be able to really walk around again alot in about 2 more weeks: yaaay!

welcome, upnorth. This is a great group! hang with us.....

Little advise for your p3, DONT EAT SPAG SQUASH

No, it has less carb and sug. than the other winter squashes, but too much for me. I grow alot of summer and winter squashes.

I knew when I ate the first bite it was too starchy.

Weight from past: I feel like you have to weigh less to look almost as good as when you are younger.
You are small like me, ll5 wouldnt be too small
i think pple seem to change their goals as things go along, nothing wrong with that.

I wondered too about certain vegetables, was it due to the time- back in the 50's? Not that no one didn't eat veggies, but it was different back then, I feel like there are some veggies that would be okay, but I stuck to protocol, but I had no issues with mixing veggies.

Ate out vegan food last nite
was up a pound today but I "got rid" of it rite after I weighed, and them some, if you know what I mean
Ihad fried green beans, zukkini, veg salad, vegan pizza(I only ate 2 very small bites of the crust then just ate the toppings and only half of each dish, oh and vodka.
so I did not do too badly P3 day 3
Kansas, have you done the cauliflower crust pizza? It's good, it tastes yummy, I go a recipe off pinterest- but it's got cheese, I know some are iffy with the dairy in P3. I just love pizza Diet Talk.jpg

Kansas, man I always hated those "ups" in P3....they made me feel scared that they would just keep going that way. I am curious, how tall r u?

WaterNai, good luck on the last two weeks. I now have 16 more days in my 40 and am pretty ok with it; just pretty bored with my food but I know that the boredom is worth the results. It is just kindof hard cuz I am also so bored with being laid up as well. Guess that is my catch word for January: BOREDOM!

Everyone, am curious: did u all lose about the same amount in each of your rounds?
I lost 20 lbs the first round - then 10 the second, but boy I didn't stabilize well at all, so I adjusted my LDW 2nd round, bummed about that, so I am wondering about a third round???

I see that you and I are really close in weight left to lose in just a few shots left. Let's keep rock'n it, with the little time we've got left!
Welcome!!! This is a nice thread, very non-judgemental about those last few pesky pounds!!! I am still in P3 after 2nd round, but scale moves up when I'm bad, but only takes a few days to get back down, but can't seem to get the motivation to stay that course to keep losing more..........

Waternai- thanks for the tips on the multi-quotes, I like the detox bath, but I think sometimes I make them too hot, and I know that's the point. So I think next one, just a little cooler, but still be able to sweat it out.

Candi, hope foot is doing better, I get all the funny pix from pinterest in the humor section- it's awesome!!!

Kansas,, hope you are feeling better too!!

General question? Did everyone follow strict protocol and do the double time between rounds? i.e., 6 weeks between 1-2, then 12 between 2-3?

Ladies, when having a bad day....just remember: 242420392412212302_xBYJQsqY_b.jpg

that's interesting, it's almost like it's still starchy, but really just a substitute for pasta, but still has the potential to cause a gain?? Maybe? Has anyone seen that veggie tool that makes everything come out like strings like spaghetti? So you can use zucchini, cucumber, whatever? Maybe just a mind thing, long strands of veggies that your mind thinks is pasta? Yeah right....... lol

Alright, this is me with cake........honestly this makes me laugh
