Thread: Starting a Vanity Round

P, here I am: sorry...so busy this week. Getting moved into our industrial space and moving everything out of our storage unit and back into our garage in this ridiculous heat...not fun!

Anyway, we launched our Rainforest Remedies products today at our Saturday market and our Pain Relief spray is a big hit. I was so sore from all the moving this week that I practically bathed in it this morning b4 going to the market and was amazed at how quickly my sore muscles no longer were sore. We are also selling our Peruvian macrame necklaces as body infusers since the heat of the body is a great way to keep the essential oils spreading. I wear one around during the day and periodically dab it with Lavender which I can smell and calms me down.

P, how funny is this: the rug you have in your shot of the dogs is the bath mat I use in our master bathroom and I just used it as the color palette for re-painting my bathroom!

Yeah, we are sort of cosmically connected, huh? We both have the same colors in our LRs, too, I noticed from one of your photos. I call it Mid-Century Modern and you are going for tropical... but they are the same colors.

I am so glad you have the new business up and running. You guys are really go-getters!

I keep saying there is no finish line...and just when I finally thought I had this thing wired with the slight increase of T3--- I am all higgly piggly again. (Or is that Piggly Wiggly? No, that's an old grocery store chain!)

I read that I am supposed to take my T3 split up in 2 to 4 doses a day, and especially need to take one before bed as the body needs T3 the most while you sleep and all the cellular level repairs are in process. I started that last week and have been battling the increased heart rate/ out of "puff" feeling that is a warning sign that you are taking too much! I have been taking 50mcg every a.m. for a year, and increased to 75 without a problem, but started taking 25 at bedtime and took 25 first thing in the morning... heart rate up from my usual 66 top 90! Did not take it again all day. I've tried lowering one to 12.5 and then both to 12.5 and still could not take any more all day, waiting for the out of breath feeling to wear off. So, instead of my usual 50, I've been down to 12.5 and still having a problem!
My weight has increased EVERY DAY for a week, going up almost 3 pounds since I started and going from 1.4 UNDER to 1.8 OVER in a week. Eating Exactly like always. ARRGGGGGHHHH. Today I did not take my usual T4 in case that is a factor and did not take any morning dose of T3... but took the 25 last night before bed. So far so good. BUT---I quit taking B12 shots a few months back due to monetary considerations... and symptoms of low B12 are ALSO rapid heart beat, out of breath and lightheadedness...and I've been having light headedness a lot lately.

So, is it the darn T3, which I tolerated so well for so long, or is it something else. I am just .2 from going out of the the Above Window today. Dang dang dang. Just when you think it maybe safe to eat a bowl of popcorn!

PS: I made WaterNai's banana bread recipe again over the weekend and it is so good. I just use two bananas instead of 3 and add a chopped apple and some cinnamon. and this time, chopped pecans. However, I read somewhere on the forum that subbing a bit of coconut flour for part of the almond flour will make it a better texture, so I did that--subbing 1/2 a c and just using 1 1/2 c almond flour. It does help and its the first time it backed in just 45 minutes. I tried using all apples once and it was still "omelet like" after baking an hour and 20 minutes!

And no, I hadn't had any on hand and hadn't eaten any until yesterday and then just two slices. I have had it many times before and not gained from it, so that's not it! :-)

Christy lives fairly close to me! We still haven't met, but maybe one day we can meet up, including Booklover (she used to live right next door until we moved almost two years ago! We lived there 17 years!) Still haven't met Janeen and she's real close.
Oh, and it was because of Lady June I met here, and in real life, that pointed me to the Dr I get NDT scripts. Small world.
