    Struggling

I am in P2R2 and can't get it together. Round 1 went very well and maintenance went well also. Note: I did 2 or 3 rounds in 2011 and 2012 and another one in 2015. Then, I tried conventional dieting and when all was said and done, gained everything back. HCG has been the only thing that has worked. So, for me, this is round 2 2017 version.

I did very well the first week and lost about 8 pounds. Since then, I have not been able to stay faithful to protocol. I'm just too hungry. I've always done HHCG and brought my latest bottle fresh.

This time, I am menopausal and after more than a year of no cycle, I had a one during round one. I think in order to hold on to my losses I should go off, but I am only in day 15. I need to figure out how to come off without regaining what I've lost. Any thoughts?

You may be able to salvage the rest of your round. 15 days is not long enough to stabilize. If you stop now, you will most likely regain anything that you've lost.

Hunger is a sign your dose is off.

You can skip two doses and if your hunger gets better, lower your dose by 1 drop each time you take it thereafter.

Okay. I'll give it a try. I really don't want to stop. I have some great meals already cooked and packaged for the next week. I just can't control the cravings and desire to eat. It can't hurt to give it a shot.

Craving can also be a sign of an off-dose, even if you are not physically hungry. My guess is that you will find the problem fades after you have skipped a couple of doses.

Once you get your dose corrected, this is a little trick you can use if you get struck by a random craving here and there: let a 1/8 - 1/4 tsp of glutamine powder dissolve under your tongue. Craving should pass in about 10 minutes.

(If you have any body-builders in your house or neighborhood, there is likely to be a jar of L-Glutamine sitting around somewhere that you can pilfer. )

Thanks for the advice! I just read about L-Glutamine this week for the first time. I think you mentioned it elsewhere on the site. I'm sure I have some around.

My dosage being off had not occurred to me, as I've never had that issue before. But, in my last round I switched suppliers and did experience some difficulty and cut my round short. I was over 30 days by then and thought maybe I'd lost focus. I hope the adjustment works. I'd really like to make this a good round.

This forum has been a real resource for me and instrumental in getting through my last round and maintenance. Thanks again!

I skipped 2 doses as suggested and had a much better day. I've also reduced the dosage by one drop. I can't thank you enough for responding!

Excellent report. Its possible you could need to reduce more, so just be on the lookout for the signs and do another skip day if needed. (You need to be on the same dose for several days before you can skip again.)

I will definitely be watchful. I was only planning 30 days, but this may help me make it to 45.
