first time doing hcg, 2nd day of phase 2 and no weight loss

im taking the injections from my dr. but instead of 2 loading days she had me do 2 days of 800 calories before dropping down even more. so i did those two days, then yesterday was the first 500. today i haven't lost anything actually up .4 lbs. i'm so annoyed i haven't cheated at all! i don't know what the reasoning she has for doing it differently than others on here are doing in regards to the loading days. has anyone else had their dr do this?

Did you lose on the two 800 calorie days? If so, your body is probably just taking a break today.

Doctors often aren't familiar with the proper protocol and choose to make all sorts of changes that harm you rather than help you. If I were you, I would use the doctor to get the hcg and then follow Dr. Simeons' original diet plan. You can read his work in Pounds & Inches available free here on this website.

If your doctor changed something so basic as loading, she probably changed the eating plan and is using too high a dose. I'd check into that.

I did lose one pound the first day but gained it back the next. Would you start over again with the loading days or is it too late? I feel so frustrated to be this hungry yet see weight creep on

You need to find out what your dose is and then read Pounds and Inches (it's a sticky in the newcomers or general information section), then stick as closely to the original protocol as you can. Some doctors have people eating 500 calories composed of potatoes, etc... If done right, you shouldn't be hungry. Good luck!!

i checked on my dose it's 150 units sub-q 6 out of 7 days a week. i checked out the pounds and inches and yes what my dr gave me to follow is drastically different. the only thing the same is the total calorie count. i want to change to the correct protocol but i'm not sure if i should back up and do the loading days or go straight into it from here. i feel pretty crappy at this point physically and even though my stomach is in pain from hunger, i'm up 2 pounds . this sucks i had worked really hard to lose 30 lbs before starting this i still have 25 more to go to get my baby weight off so to put 2 of those back on is really discouraging. what would anyone advise about moving forward if it were you?

If you're still within the first week of injections I would maybe do a mini load (1-2 days of eating whatever you can get down), then do a full 43 day round. Skip 1 injection a week. If you're feeling hungry, your dose is off. Stick with the original protocol, then on your skip day see how you feel after 4 p.m. and report back. We have plenty of people here who can help you get the dose right.
    LDW: 152.2 from last round

    New round
    Starting weight: 156.0
    Current weight: 146.8
    LDW: 147.0

I would totally restart, 150 is a good starting dose so I wouldn't change it yet. Get in at least one good loading day, you can do 2 if you want then go to VLC from there. See how your hunger is then. If you still have hunger a couple of days into VLC you can skip and gauge your hunger then to see if you need to adjust your dose.

It sounds like your dose is too high. Skip the next shot and see how you feel after 4. Start eating only the foods on the Pounds and Inches list. You've been on long enough that loading again is kind of useless in my opinion. Hunger is always a dose issue.

    Hi Grammy,
Its been a while since i tried this diet and now im not sure where to get the drops anymore. I used to use the hcg1234 ones and i called them yesterday only to be told that the government made them stop using hcg, so theyre drops are only amino acid now. Is there anywhere u can recommend getting real hcg from? Im also having a hard time finding a doctor who doesnt charge a mortgage payment for their version of the diet.

You could order the real hcg from overseas and mix the drops yourself if you're determined to do drops. I actually much much prefer the shots for long term effect. There's a document on my website colleencoble.com under extras that explains where to buy etc.
