Who's Doing Final Round Starting Late Sept or Early Oct 2011?

    Hi all,

I'm getting ready to load for my fourth --and hopefully final-- round. I will load late September and I plan on doing a four-week round, in time to enter P3 just before my birthday October 30 (can you say flourless chocolate cake?) I started this journey February 15, 2011 with the intention of being at goal by my birthday. Best gift I've given myself! Who wants to join me and support each other on the ride? Final-rounders are especially invited. See that finish line? Woohoo!!!

Laura--I'm in! I'm so incredibly ready to begin. This will be Round 3 for me and it will be my final round. Round 2 was a bust. What little I lost didn't stay off, and I'm scared to weigh after loading, but I'm sticking with this Round until I'm where I want to be. Feeling very committed and determined. I was in a great zone after Round 1 and felt like I had finally conquered some major issues with food. However, the last month or so has left me with those old, unhealthy thoughts and habits creeping back into my daily life. Ready to nip it in the bud. I would start NOW if I could, but I'm waiting on my pellets to arrive by Monday afternoon. So I'll be loading September 27-28.

Thanks for posting this! It would be great to go through this final round with the support of a group.

Welcome Hallie and Tate! Yes, it's me, the Weston A. Price gal (referring to this thread I started: http://hcgdietinfo.com/hcgdietforums...se-four-34920/ ) I'm ready to start too. My weight's been creeping up on P4. Darned starches. I think I have residual issues to resolve, too. Glad we can support each other. :-)

My pellets arrived, so I'll be starting the Load Days tomorrow. I'm embarrassed to admit I've been doing some pre-loading. I'm so ready to get back into the zone and feel more in control again. I'm really going to get focused and retrain my brain. Emotional eating has come back like an old, not-so-friendly friend. I think was a little too confident, thinking I had beat the beast, but here I am again....sigh. But I'm not giving up!

Good luck, Tate! Yes, never give up. We're all in process, everyone's learning.

I've heard it said that it's important to do our last round "by the book," since it's the last round and stabilization is all-important. I've been rogue in rounds 2 and 3. I'm hoping I can do strict protocol this round to maximize my results.

Tate, how's the loading? I'm going shopping today for my load foods. Whipping cream (for coffee), bacon and full-fat Greek yogurt are high on the list. What do you all like to eat on load days? Maybe you can suggest some new high-fat treats to try? (I don't do a tons of carbs on loads.)

Hi Laura--Thanks for asking! Loading is going okay, although I was mortified to see a four pound gain after my first load day. I'm also really struggling to eat today, but I'm doing my best. The three things you mentioned were on my list for loading. I also add macadamia nuts to the Greek yogurt for extra fat/calories. And, for me, no load is complete without some Ben & Jerry's. Last night I made a huge taco salad with lots of sour cream and guacamole. I may repeat that tonight...nothing sounds good, unfortunately. Just ready to move onto P2 and see the scale go down. I feel huge right now!

Are you starting your load tomorrow?

Oh Tate, I KNOW that load day-2 bloated feeling! Isn't it great it's only two days? I'll bet you're feeling better by the end of today. I've decided to load Saturday and Sunday (with you, Hallie). I have full work days today and tomorrow and it's just easier to load when not too busy to eat! Plus a party on Sunday, so a great excuse to cut loose. I have some macadamias and ice cream waiting! Will do just short of four weeks on drops so I can be in P3 before my birthday Oct 30.

Hey ladies, can I join you in here? Finally, after two years, I will be starting my final round this weekend. I was going to start earlier this week after TOM left, but hubby and I ended up with a sitter for Saturday night, so we're going OUT! Lol I'm excited, we only get one or two date nights a year. Planning on hitting our fave Mexican restaurant. My nephew's second birthday party is on Sunday, so I have excellent loading opportunities this weekend.

    Good luck to you all!

Sounds like you have a plan! Have a great load weekend. I feel so much better tonight--I feel lighter already!

Definitely join us! So exciting you get to have a rare moment for a date. I know how that is. I have 4 children ages 8 and under, so a date night is a rarity around here, too. Great time to do the load days. Glad you decided to post something. I think we can get a great group going for support as we push through the final round.

I just finished VLCD 1. Felt fine all day. No hunger. The only crazy thing is that TOM started today. I'm very irregular, so I'm never quite sure when it will happen, but I recall during my first round I started on VLCD 1. Strange! Hopefully it won't pose too big of an issue for me. I'll just add a week if necessary to meet my goal.

Nice to "meet" you all and hope we can keep things going here!

Welcome CM! Tate, my TOM should start any day and I'm loading starting tomorrow. Not sure it's the best timing, but it's what I've got to work with. Guess we're in a similar boat.
