    Kibear,
I still have approximately 30 pounds to hit my goal, do not know if I will make it or not.
The last time I was down that low, I was running every day and lifting quite often.
We will see if I can hit 30 with a 40 day round this time. I hit 30# in a 31 day round last time.

I have a kids camp next week with CAMP food and then I have a Dr's appt a couple of weeks after that where they will be doing blood tests and I do not want the HCG to skew any of the readings.
Planning on loading right after that.
Trying to get them to move the test up but no luck so far.
I am really ready right now and patience is not my best virtue!

For lack of patience's sake...maybe you could go in for a blood draw/urine sample a couple of weeks before your Dr. appointment. Then, you'd be free to hcg earlier. It's been done for other reasons...

They want me to wait a certain amount of time in between draws and I need another month. Forgot about this when I was initially planning this round.
I had enough trouble explaining why my weight was down so far and why I had stopped taking my reflux medication.
It has been a couple of weeks since I have had to do a correction day, so I am OK waiting since my stabilization seems to be working as I add in new foods.
CAMP food will be a real test!!!
Planning on bringing some of my own food but we will see.

Gary, I was partly being selfish so that I could have you to start loading with. :-) Did you tell the Dr. about using HCG? I won't have to "explain" because my next appointment is not until next year. I wasn't planning to tell about the hcg part, though. I don't know..I didn't want to risk hearing negativity.

Camp food, eh? No worries, you're stable. Just be very aware! You made me realize that I haven't had to do a correction day in the past four weeks, either. We'll both lose the rest of our weight soon - when the time is right.

I really understand, I want to be in the middle of the group as well.
Yes, I did tell the Dr. about HCG and he asked me to wait until after my appointment to make sure there were no effects. He was not positive or negative.

    It really sucks getting old!

But it certainly beats the alternative.

    ROTF...LMAO

I have my annual Dr's appt. at the end of July and I am 100% sure they are going to ask. As everytine I go in they always say.... get the weight under control. I take HBP medicine and think I no longer need it so I will have to "fess up" -- I am VERY proud that I have lost 25lbs. Who really cares how I did it... I DID IT!!! that is what counts. I hope they will not give me a hard times... if they do..... I guess I will be looking for a new practice!

I have been a good girl the past few weeks --- I have stayed at or below my LDW. I have added in my all time favorite... POTATOES!!!!!! in EXTREME moderation please note .... no trips to Red Robin for the bottomless basket of steak fries (yet)!!! Yummmm... I can smell the grease now!

I have no real cravings for bread (gluten) but I know I need to add it back in sooner than later. I am just dreading being bloated! Any suggestion on where to start?

Oh... for those who ate the Spaghetti Squash and gained (like me)..... stay away from fresh Artichokes.... I have had them 2 times now and had the most horrific gas pains for HOURS both times. Bye Bye Artichokes!

Hope everyone stays cool and keeping up the fluids!

    Heidi

    4/11/11 - Postload - 191.0
    4/11 - 5/17/11 = 5 weeks met GOAL at 170.00 = LDW
I have stayed within the +/- 2 lb range -- this is what I call a success!

    You guys (Gals) are Awesome!
I am seeing an endocrinologist and he knows exactly what HCG does to the body.
He is not pro or con.
His resident was quite curious the last time I saw them.
She was very interested in how much energy I had with the 500 VLCD meals and was wondering how much exercise I could handle.
I was quite frank with them about my energy level as well as the effectiveness of the diet.
That is why he wants me to wait till after the tests before I start my next round.
It was actually a very good visit.
I do not see my primary care physician till sometime in November (Who is quite overweight) and I am hoping to be at my goal along with a couple of months working with the weights before I see him.
That will be a very interesting conversation!!!!

Glad to see you back Heidi!

Hey all!! So I have been out of town for about the last week or so and have not been on the forums during that time. I did catch up on what everyone is up to though. =) Looks like most of you are starting P2 again very soon. How exciting! Can't wait to see those numbers drop I'm sure! Good luck!

I must have missed it, did we ever decide if we are staying here or making a new thread?

Sorry I've been a little absent from the forum, life is attacking me!

there is a good thread started July Loaders - Round 2 - Eyes on the Prize!! if anyone wants to join in on that.. there are a lot of people from the spring starters thread that are migrating over there as they start their second rounds.

I think it's nice to try and stay together sort of, even if we do end up mixed in with other groups..

Good to have you back Abbey!

I am also inclined to look at the July Loaders thread since we will have more people in the same phase.
Since I am not loading till later in July, does not really matter to me.
I would probably be helpful to have the input of other people that have already gone through a round.

I lost another 0.8# this morning. First time below LIW 2# mark.
    Feels kinda good.
Not really sure what I am doing to cause this.

    Breakfast - Bacon & Eggs
Lunch - Left over Pot Roast and vegetables
    Snack - Popcorn and cheese
Dinner - Chicken breast with mixed greens - Used regular Ranch Dressing since I was out of my homemade.
Lots of coffee. Did not drink all my water.

I should have gained with what I ate.
