    Adding in new foods?

So - we are to add new foods in slowly. Best scenario: Eat a food for 2-3 days (while adding nothing else new), and see how if affects your scale. Add in a second new food, if you have no issues from first new food. Wait for fruits, nuts, and cheeses for week 2.

If we have had foods in P2 (specifically eggs and cottage cheese) with no problems, can we continue them in P3 without the "easing in and waiting" stage? And can we add basically any low-glycemic vegetable, even if it was not on protocol (broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms, green beans, Brussels sprouts, etc)?

I am saddened to think that bacon most likely counts as a "new food". I am seriously wanting some bacon and eggs!

Bump. Really would love some input on the "new stuff"!

And to add a question - what tends to be easier on the gut on g P3 - coconut flour or almond flour? And does coconut flour taste like coconut, which I despise? (I bought coconut oil which doesn't smell or taste, thank heavens.)
