    Calcium/magnesium to cut inflammation weight

I found out over the past week that my body responds well to a Solaray 2-1/2 parts calcium 1 part magnesium blend before bed. When I take 2-3 capsules before bed I sleep better and I lost 4lbs of inflammation weight and felt so much better. I realized I'd cut out dairy that week with the gains and my body was missing the calming calcium. I felt so much better and noticed I'm right at or below LIW since I added the calcium and the inflammation weight is gone. I hadn't done a correction day to loose the weight I just took the calcium/magnesium blend.

I wondered if it might help others. Just something to try! See if you might need more minerals and before bed calcium and magnesium relax the body.

Glad your found a good sleep key... quality sleep is super important to both achieving and maintaining weight loss.

Its important to take K2 anytime you supplement with calcium. It directs the calcium to your bones instead of to your arteries or calcification spots in your tissues. I take a mix of MK-7 and MK4 K2 to cover the bases, but if you can only find one, MK7 form would be the better choice.

Natural Calm is a popular magnesium supplement for those that like to drink their nutrition. Just about everyone is deficient in magnesium because of the depletion of our soils, so most can benefit from taking it.

It's equally important to take K2 if you take a Vitamin D supplement, for pretty much the same calcium issue.

You gals are right on. I've struggled for years to get my D levels up even on K2 and magnesium. I seem to really have to focus on taking all three consistently daily. I also get vitamin D shots every 2 weeks but I still seem to need to take oral also along with k2. But I ran out of K2 need to order more. They are so important. Thanks for reminding me. Oh and sleep is huge. We had a lot of stress past 10 days plus sickness and it's been harder to sleep but the calcium really helped.

You gals are fantastic and I appreciate the advice and reminder about keeping on top of k2. Going to get my levels checked soon. Hopefully I can get my d up to 80 for this winter. It tends to be in the 50's. It's higher though than it was when I was first diagnosed with lyme, Babesia and Tularemia and it was tanked out back in 2020 I was really sick. So thankful to be a lot healthier now.

You found a good one, great ingredients. Love that its in coconut oil.
The dose is fine. Somewhere around 100mcg is enough for healthy people.

This is the one I'm using now.

I appreciate your ideas! This is such a helpful forum and friendly! Thanks gals! Yeah, I like that brand that has the supplements in bags instead of plastic bottles. It seems like less waste.
