Creeping up weight and gained 1lb overnight

The past week my weight has slowly trended up. I had gotten down to 121 and then after that it's just slowly crept back up. I had been holding steady at 122.6 ish which was comfortable however this morning I woke up to 123.7. I really want to stabilize at 122 ish not creep up. I've been eating mozz cheese and some blue cheese in food however what I ate differently yesterday is I went out with a friend to Chipotle. I was very careful and had steak over lettuce with plain salsa and a small amount of their light white cheese on top. It wasn't a huge bowl and I didn't overeat. That evening I had a bit of my zhuchinni pizza (been eating past few days) and some pot roast with cooked onions and radishes. I did make a mistake and used some horshradish sauce on my pot roast and then saw the horshradish sauce (used 1 tablespoon) has corn syrup and soy oil in it. (Whoops). Anyways I stopped having the horshradish but is the gain from the horshradish sauce or was it just too much dairy past few days? The big jump seems a little disproportionate. I seemed hungrier yesterday. I am due for my period on Saturday. So maybe TOM is making it a bit harder?

I also had a small serving of frozen cranberies blended with water and stevia to make a fruit drink before bed. But I had that the previous night and only had a .3 gain.

Thanks for seeing any red flags I should be aware off.

Any gain at the start of P3 is a signal to back off of carbs. Having them before bed is the worst time. Also, eat your fruits, don't drink them.

I'll try that! Yeah, it was only like a few tablespoons but can remove for a bit. It was weird though I had it the night before with no issue then last night I had the 1lb gain. Could have been the horsh radish sauce with the corn syrup but it had only a small amount but of course was with fatty meat so maybe that was the "fat and startch combo" Whoops!

IMO, it was the sugars in the sauce + the sweet fruit drink. The fats and protein are what your body has been getting all through the hcg diet: the fats from autophagy, and the protein by eating.

Remember that your LIW is 125. You are still over a pound under LIW. Most people don't get to keep any weight loss that happens after the last injection. You are following all the rules. You have to let your body do what its going to do. Some of what your body does in P3 is bounce around a bit on the scale. You aren't eating anything too much or wrong.

The slip up with the horseradish sauce "could" have been a factor in a scale jump, as both sugar and soy oil are inflammatory, but its unlikely. (But the mistake is a good reminder about checking ingredients on any processed food.) Your weight can just as easily drop back on its own tomorrow. If it makes you feel safer, you can do a protein/veggie only day, but don't restrict calories. I know how alarming a pound jump can be, but try to look at it all in perspective, and give yourself some grace. P3 doesn't have to be done perfectly to work.

Thankful just as an update I was back down to `122.2 again this morning. I had a chocolate smoothie with collagen peptides and a tiny bit of cream but mostly focused on chicken, fish, beef and romaine and steamed broccoli with butter yesterday. I noticed the extra protien and veggies kept me SO satisfied. I think that is what my body likes best in p3 meat and veggies with some butter and salt! Mmm Kept me full longer.

Haha YES! Got some good Costco Kirland brand grass fed it's so yellow mmmm and the flavor! Wow. It's so nice how p2 makes all the healthy food in p3 seem like the most amazing thing ever! p2 is so great for re-training the taste buds! I've never in my life been this satisfied with healthy food! This was my best round even though we had hiccups throughout it. It really did help my hormones and blood sugar even out.
