Angry Anyone else getting intrusive questions?

I am almost done with R2P2 and getting a lot of positive and negative comments from staff. Honestly all the attention is starting to make me uncomfortable. I do not tell staff when I am dieting because I do not want their advice. I don't want to hear how unhealthy my diet is or that I'm not eating enough calories. Today I was asked if that is all I'm eating (1/2-c broth) all day. I wanted to laugh and say OMG are you kidding me right now? I'd be in a coma. I don't feel I should have to explain myself to staff about my eating habits. Is there a nice way to say you know it is none of your business? Another question I'm getting is "wow how much more do you want to lose?" Or "if I were you I wouldn't lose much more at your age." I have had people ask me my weight, how much I've lost, how fast I lost it...on and on. It is driving me nuts! I am 48, 5 foot 2 inches and weigh 150 pounds. I do run and lift weights so look like I weigh less than that but by no means am I skinny. I eventually would like to lose 15 more but at a comfortable weight right now wearing 10/12 comfortably (more 12 than 10). I suppose by next week everyone will be use to the new skinnier me but wanted to vent!

People are rude!! There is a woman that I will not eat luch with anymore because she thinks it's her job to evaluate my plate (content, portion size and COLOR for goodness sakes!!) Also, without fail, whenever I have to pull a "fat" suit out of the closet, she comments that she hasn't seen that on me in a while! I feel bad enough pulling out the "big" clothes, I don't need her commenting on it!! GRRRRRRR!!

Thank you for letting me join in your venting session!! I feel better now!

I wish there wasn't so much WRONG information about Hcg out there. I tried to talk to my sister in law about it, well I started anyway, and she said she would faint. I couldn't convince her about hcg cuz she heard at the dermatologists office that it was a terrible fad that would soon be crashing down! And she would SO benefit from this, she is a breast cancer survivor, a single Mom, prolly 40 lbs overweight and so depressed about it.

I would just tell people you have cut processed food from your diet, and are feeling great! that you have no specific weight in mind, you are just interested in being healthy and feeling and looking your best. That you feel WONDERFUL, thanks for asking!

People...sometimes have no idea how nosy and rude they appear.
    Owl righty then!

It's all in the attitude. I actually tell everyone how I lost my weight. I'm an evangelist for hcg. LOL But if anyone questions me about it, I lift a brow and say, do you honestly think I would do something unhealthy? They don't dare say anything after I say that. I don't let anyone slam hcg out of ignorance. Which is all it is. They are just ignorant of the real science behind the protocol.

Amen to what Grammy said. I'm an evangelist for hcg, too! In fact, I got my mom, dad, sister, and best friend to all try it! As a lifelong vegetarian and health aficionado, I would *never* do something to my body without researching its effects and protocol. I do my research on hcg so that when people have questions or seem critical, I can support my actions with facts and research. Knowledge truly is power.

Sure, there are people who ask intrusive questions, and some might be critical, but hey...haters gonna hate. They're probably jealous of your wild success.

Switch the topic to their sex life and I bet they'd get the hint pretty darn quick, LOL!

Yes, I get a lot of positive comments, along with the "you should lose more, no im being serious." comments from a special needs man who frequents my work location. He says this so loud, in front of everyone, every time he sees me. I get he doesnt know better, but i avoid him like the plague now. Most people at work either dont notice exactly whats different about me, dont say anything, or are utterly amazed. At first people just thought it was the natural look (Sans makeup) that was working for me... which i welcomed because i didnt want too many weight comments.

I'm about to start my first P3 and I have a lot more weight to lose, I'm only a little over half way to the weight I was before I had my huge 70 lb in a year gain due to meds and a million other factors... and i was not thin then.... so having lost a large amount of weight, instead of feeling proud and satisfied for now, I worry so much that people will wonder why i stopped losing weight, why i seemingly went off my diet when i still have a long way to go, and worst of all... why im eating so many really "fattening foods" I dread the first time i go out with friends and order a big steak with butter and a large salad with cheese and dressing, and they look at me sideways like im an idiot, then start giving me lectures.

I am so sick of people's lectures!!!!!

And yes, even on this diet, while a lot of people say i'm made of steel the way i resist temptation, its been a lot of, oh wow, you're eating that? at one point i had to tell one girl at work who never had to diet a day in her life, "listen, what im doing is working, so I'm going to keep doing it, which means that right now i don't need advice on how to change what works. I just tell people in P3 that fats are healthy and they've been brainwashed. And that this is part of the diet. But you're only off 6 weeks and you will reshape during this time and look thinner.
