    Field of Greens Brickhouse Nutrition

    Good morning all,

As the title suggests I'm curious as to whether anyone has any experience using FoG during P3? It is a really easy way to get your daily servings of fruits and vegetables and in the past would mix it with Andrew Lessman's protein powder meal replacements, almond milk and some almond butter. My concern is the powder has 5g of sugar to it so I'm going to have to find something else to mix it with until I can work it back in.

A little history...I found this awesome website and community in 2010 and did two 40 day rounds of homeopathic drops and went from 232 to 175 and maintained it for about 5 years and then started creeping up to around 220ish after several Disney vacations and other life events. Completed a 26 day round a few years ago and got to 203 and have been maintaining that unintentionally for the last 3 years and finally decided to do another 26 day round recently and I'm now 186 in P3. Thanksgiving day put me over my 2lb. threshold but I got lucky and ate normally the next day instead of a steak day and corrected. While I obviously do not post here regularly, I lurk and read and enjoy the site and everyone's stories and successes. Thanks in advance and be safe out there!

It must feel good to almost be back to where you were in 2010. Congrats on a successful round and making it through Thanksgiving without doing much damage.

As for supplements like FOG, it is really better to eat whole foods during P3. The bulk and fiber is a big part of adjusting to your new calorie needs and figuring out your hunger/satisfaction cues. Its fine to use something like that as a supplement but not as a replacement.
