    just finished day one of p3 and freaked out

    I could barely sleep last night I was so excited about breakfast, but now that today is over I'm scared to weigh in tomorrow morning. I started the day with a two egg scramble with mushrooms and spinach, which were my first eggs in over a month. I had a lot of cream in my coffee over the days time and then I also added in two slices of cheese over the day, one in the morning with my eggs and one in the evening with beef. I'm afraid of what this might do. I weighed in at exactly my LDW today. Any thoughts on my additions for my first day? I also had probably between 1000 and 1200 calories total which is a huge jump from 500.

    Throughout the day I also had 2.5 oz of albacore in water, a cup of broccoli, an apple, a tomato, and probably 30 g's of turkey breast, barely any.

    I can sooo imagine how scared you were - I am still in P2 - and worried about making the leap to P3. Hope the scale is good to you!

    My first night I woke up several times thinking should I weight now? Ridiculous! But I know what you mean. Hope you got sleep.

    Kellemom - hope the scale was kind to you today. I will be joining you on Tuesday and am sure I will feel just the same. After being so limited and structured for a while, I imagine you feel "guilty" by indulging. Plus for me, I had always followed a low-fat diet so indulging in full fats (heavy whipping cream! coconut oil!) is just so foreign and what I always thought was a no no. But we have trusted the program to lose, so we should trust it to maintain, right? I'll follow your journey with interest since you are just a couple of days ahead of me. Good luck!

    I weighed in to zero gain or loss! I can't believe it! I don't want to get too cocky, but I'm so excited that I don't need to do the steak day yet! Moya, I would love to buddy up and follow your journey too!

    I know the feeling! This morning was my first day to weigh in after starting phase 3 yesterday. Last night I was so stressed out! This morning I was 1 pound under LDW! Hopefully I can stay here or at least at LDW! Keep up the good eating!

    In case anyone is following my journey I thought I would update here. Woke up to a gain of 1.8 which put me at exactly 2 lbs over LDW. Today was my first steak day. I just finished 16 oz of new york steak and an apple so i'll report on the results tomorrow. I'm also experiencing some TOM cramps and should be starting within the next couple days so my body it probably just all over the place. Fingers crossed! I also ate later than I should have last night and was feeling crazy munchy (see TOM comment) and couldn't stop shoveling almond butter and cocoa crack in my mouth... At least it was approved food lol.
