LOL I should have called this thread Flo's Excruciating journey....the only excitement is my heartbeat every time I get onto the scale

So yesterday I did eat all on protocol and I included a lot more ito veggies and size of meals But I feel I have to continue to push myself and see where it goes... I do no its nor diet brain.... it is the stuff I would normally eat and the quantity I am normally satisfied with...but I know "normally" is what gets me into a mess scale wise.... So having said that

    P3 Day18
    Up 100gm/.22lbs
Weight 179.7 still only 600gm/.66 above LIW

Out of yogurt this morning so had to do papaya with a Almond Milk smoothie and Protein powder
I feel the yogurt has really settled my stomach big time.. I like that I can do other fruits in P3 and P4...I think I will leave the apples to P2....

I had a thought this morning.... P2 is not my problem, Stabilizing is.... although I am reasonably stable maybe I should do my round and aim for 22lbs again that way I will only the last bridge to cross over to get to my ultimate goal...although I will be happy around 158 ish.... but in doing another round, it will give me THREE P3s to lock in my HCG weight.... and wintertime is a great way for me to stabilize with heavier meals like Stews and soups....

might just give it a go....
Happy day Bunnies.... and enjoy all your preps for TGiving.....

Gratitude is indeed the best ever Attitute!

Ok my meals for the day
Decided to seriously record my intake on MFP again so I can see for myself that I am upping calories in a healthy way

Breakkfast: almond milk, papaya, protein powder and a small amount of MCT oil
Snack: Nescafe Capuccino with a teaspoon of MTC oil (found it a bit rich to my liking though)
Lunch: 2 eggs scrambled with butter, smoked salmon, tomato, asparagus and half an avo

Dinner: I have defrosted a cottage pie some pumpkin and creamed spinach.... the values there are a bit more of a thumb suck, but at least I am already sitting at 921 and only 30 net carbs so far So I think I am doing about 1200 -1500 a day which is good for me... as I would often go through the entire day and just have supper and maybe a cup of coffee or maybe on a good day and apple.....

Sounds good, Yvonne! Yay for new experiments! I too have to rethink what used to be normal for me and I see now that what I was eating was not enough. Snacking, not being satisfied, and then eating baked stuff is just right there to temp me. I have no temptations right now at all.

You have stabilized so well! Hoping you can enjoy more food and have fun without dread!

    Thanks girl....
not so much dread... i need to choose food that is not heavy on my stomach... the moment i feel that fullness as a heaviness I am uncomfortable... but I guess because I am so cautious i only probably had one or two occasions after day 1
... but not as bad as day 1
I do think I am getting the hang of this P3 thing

Yes! Small steps and easily digested foods! MCT is much more easily digested than lard or other saturated for sure!

First let me say to all...
    Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Enjoy your day, be happy, be blessed and be grateful!!

afm... looks like the scale does like that upper end of the window

    P3 Day 19
    Up 200g /.44
    Weight 179.96 | 1.5 over LIW

    Last three days
    - replaced Yogurt with almond milk (need to pop out and get more Yogurt)
    - introduced Papaya (have 1 left, but think I will let it hold for a couple of days - back to berries
    - introduced small amounts of MCT Oil - to little to have an effect
    - added Pumpkin and creamed spinach - will hold a bit on that
    - seems Coffee does not do good for me on the scale

Or otherwise... my body just doing its own darn thing as always!!

Not to stressed But am happy I chose to stick it out for another week on P3.....as my gains and drops are still in the region of 1/2 pound.... not stable enough for me.....another week wont kill me.... but it can help to stabilize further....

Enjoy the day all... guess I wont see much of you guys today!

You just started adding food too so giving that some time seems like a good idea.

Morning bunnies.... so all of you probably going to avoid the scale this morning right?.... only kidding hope it was an awesome day for all

    P3 Day 20
    Down 400g/.88
    Weight 179.08 | .66 over LIW

sitting two weigh in days away from the end of 3 weeks and only went over once is not bad... I do understand that the OVER at the end of week one was part of my ups and downs as a result of infections, but regardless, week one was not stable so I am definitely doing a week 4.... I would like to see more of a straight line than this ups and downs.... and I would like to be possibly below LIW before starting P4

Now my thoughts are.... what makes P4 different from P3?... I am pretty much a creature of habit so food wise I guess I do not miss much other than potatoes of course.... I have had the occasional glass of wine and know that it's something I need to watch not only for my weight but for my gut health so I cannot see anything over the horizon that will make starting P4 a Whoopee moment.... what are your thoughts?

One thing I am grateful for about P3 is that I have yet again instilled a 3 meals plus snacks routine again and hoping to stick to it....

Now Miss M...today will be your last day on P3.... any thoughts about going forward...what will you do different as from tomorrow?

MrsS... I am hanging around with you for another week

    Good day today...

The girls were going to come over after work for a glass of wine, but we then decided to move it to next week and now I am even happier because it can give me a clean start to the weekend and the end of week 3

But I was prepared actually, took some minced lamb out the freezer and planned to make some meatballs and P3 friendly dips and veggies But now I am happy that I have the extra week to experiment a bit with cheese and nuts I love my cheeses...hope I do not react to it....

Black Friday here today and because of Covid we kind of had a Black Friday week here - Local pharmacy has almond flour on special buy 3 and geit the 3rd one free so going to stock up a bit

I did go on the scale! 170. No steak day!

I don't think week one is going to be stable for anyone and that what you are seeing now is your stability. I am not sure adding a week makes a difference since you will fluctuate here P3 or P4. Just thinking out loud. I do think it can help mentally for sure! I only will do P4 in the sense that I want to be able to enjoy some sweet potatoes when I make them for dinner, and some things here and there that I can't think of right now. Just a little more freedom. Either way, in both P3 and P4 we eat, and we weigh, we correct or we don't need to. So, I personally do not want to restrict myself unless I have to scale wise!

MissM was going to stick in P3 I think. Hope everything is OK, MissM!

That sounds like a good plan if you haven't had cheese and nuts! That would totally be a reason I would extend P3: adding foods slowly.

Black Friday here too so will be looking for some online sales for Christmas gifts. Funny that there is one in South Afrika! It is so connected to Thanksgiving here!

    Have a good day!
