Very quiet around here... I hope everyone is enjoying their Easter break
3 days of P4 behind me and went right up to my 2pound window with my P4 plan of more relaxed on weekends And p3 foods during the week
Probably not wise to introduce the bad stuff so early on but I am doing a short P4... had the Airfryer potato chips on Friday and had sweet corn on the cob yesterday.. have two engagements today but none food related Down 300gm this Morning... so a tiny bit safer today

Great NSV Yvonne! Absolutely love shop from my closet. When we went out of town a week or so ago, I wore a pair of jeans I hadn't worn in years! It was so nice! HOORAY, YVONNE!!! Huge congratulations on a fantastic P3--the sort of P3 one generally dreams of--and for seamlessly transitioning into P4 in a way you feel quite good about. I think after such a long stretch of very low carb, when we deliberately introduce carbs/starches back into the diet the scale number will go up simply because the body's cells hold onto water when the glucose supply is replenished. That doesn't mean it will stay. These are the sorts of waves we must learn to ride without emotional attachment. And you're doing great!

Yes and now on "School day" regime it will settle down again
My stomach was quite upset after I weighed and recorded a gain, but I am not worried, the number of times I had to run will offset it by tomorrow, at least it was a temporary thing
just something weird, it stopped as quickly as it started
Was hoping to have some baked beans and then realised it contains sugar.... duh!

Yvonne, last night I went to take a melatonin tablet (always take before bed--have sleep issues), and noticed it tasted sweet! Looked at label and geez, it is strawberry flavored (different from what I normally get) and it had ALL KINDS of sweeteners and flavorings! They put sugar and flavorings in EVERYTHING! Love, love baked beans!
Dubbles, these days they hide it so carefully, sometimes disguised with fancy substituted names...We can not let our guards down

OK so yesterday the scale went up again, I was over my 2 pound window but chose not to have a steak day as I think I figured out the reason behind the sudden increase
Had red wine for the first time again on Monday and I had that with friend with a cheese board.... and seeing that I am allergic to Dairy, I will just refrain from consuming either of these for a while and test it again separately at another time
This morning I am down again, just just on my 2 lbs window, so hopefully back in business tomorrow

Glad you are down again, Yvonnne, and without a steak day. Personally, I am not planning on doing steak days per se --ever. I will do all protein days, maybe if within a few oz. of being over LDW, but the idea of of waiting till dinner to have a steak and apple, just depresses me. Ha!
I know during my current p2 we'll be going out with some friends, a couple of our good friends spend the winter (after Christmas) in Naples FL, they come back tonite--so we will probably be going out with them soon. Then I will be
having a glass of wine--on P2. Not exactly sure how I'm going to handle it. Not sure whether to just do a skip day, the day of and maybe the day before--or just do the best I can and accept the gain. I just don't think I'll do a true planned interruption (no hcg for 3 days or so?) Any advice on best way to handle, basically a meal out, with a little wine during p2?
