    Kc, this is a suggestion.

    Stop testing and just eat plain foods for a while. Maybe even till the end of P3. You can test later. If you keep to a plain menu of meats, good fats, vegetables and some fruit, you'll give your body a chance to clear the inflammation easier.

    It doesn't have to be a deprivation situation. Avocados, bacon and butter are good fats. Vegetables roasted in garlic and olive oil are delicious.

    Leez, this advice came just in time. I’m already sick of adding one thing a day and just want to eat good P3 food. I like your suggestion a lot! Going to do just that. At the end of the day, if I’m following P3 and eating to hunger, in the long run I will be fine. I’m down over 70 lbs and I’m not going to kill myself over stupid water fluctuations, even though we all want to see that lower number on the scale. No one else can tell by looking at me.

    Agree! Eat and enjoy the simple P3 foods that are so yummy on their own.


    If you didn't try one of these remedies, now might be a good time. I think the best time to drink the smoothie is as a last meal of the day so it has all night to work.

    Up 0.2lbs today. So last 3 days Ive been at 177/177.2. Seems I may be stabilizing there. LDW was 172.2. Disappointed I’m hanging on to a full 5 lbs, but, I feel I did everything I could. I was up to nearly 180 several days ago. I will still do a steak day tomorrow and see what happens, but other than that will continue with simple P3 eating and still try to hone in on satiation levels.

    I know it is disappointing KC, but try and keep spirits up. You are working on it, and not giving up, that's the important thing. I am on my last day of transition to p3 (tomorrow a.m.) and I went up .2 again today, so before even getting to p3 eating I am .4 over Last Dose Weight. I never ever seem to lose on those transition days for wiggle room. But I guess it is what it is. I would just continue with your plan to eat P3 and be mindful of fullness.     It may be too late in terms or resetting your LDW. But to get rid of the puffiness, which is usually my issue too with that big of a gain. I do the "liquids only" fast day, or liquids only with an inflammation smoothie for dinner; and a detox bath with both, i will drop 3-5 lbs of that inflammation puffiness. Something about this clears my system out and resets everything. Also, if nothing you are taking is working in the BM area, buy a jar of Fleet Glycerin Suppositories, insert one using a disposable glove, and you will have a BM in 15 minutes or so guaranteed. When I'm backed up, those supplements and teas either don't work for me, or take too long to work leaving me feeling horrible until that time.
