Hmmmm....I had something wise to say but now I can't really remember that well. I think that my big mistake, and I see a lot of people doing it, is when the weight is fluctuating so much, we "overcorrect" through steak days and multiple protein days in a row. I think a better approach may be to up the calories, looking for stabilization, then when the weight is stable, do the steak day/protein day. The body understands it's not starving to death so will be more relenting to the extra pounds. That's just a theory I have, but when my weight was creeping and I did steak days, I didn't lose any. After a few weeks of being stable, I did a steak day when I didn't really need to and lost 2.4 pounds.

This makes sense. Usually on correction days, calories are lower....around 1200 or so. I will have to keep this in mind; thank you!

I keep going back to Linda Prinster's explanation of calories released into the body by the HCG. When I enter P3, I will use the following formula:

(average daily weight loss in pounds x 3500) + average daily intake.

So, assuming that my average daily loss for Round 1 was 0.5 pounds, and my intake was 500 calories, my P3 intake should be right around 2250 calories.
Started my HCG journey on March 16, 2011

Just for the record, no part of this journey is for the weak.
