How many injections after a skip day before you can safely end a round?

Is there a “rule” about how many injections you should have before your last injection on a round? My skip day was yesterday and the plan was last injection Tuesday, start P3 on Friday. But now (late, of course) I’m wondering if 2 injections after a skip day is “enough” before I stop the round and transition?

It is best to have 3 days of injections before starting your transition to P3. The reason is that HCG overlaps in your system for 3 days, so unless you have 3 days where you come back up to full strength again, you may have some hunger hit you before you can start P3.

That being said, you can go ahead and end when you planned, just be aware of what can happen.

Thank you! I appreciate the response. I knew about the 3 day build up, I just wasn’t sure (and didn’t think of) how or if that affected going into P3 and/or whether that affected stabilizing, which is the far bigger concern lol. Kicking myself for not thinking of it earlier but good to know I can use today as my last injection day and proceed as planned. If I have higher hunger I’ll just go to bed early and dream of eggs, new veggies and bacon in the morning. How many injections after a skip day before you can safely end a round?

It is mainly for your comfort on the transition.

If hunger gets overwhelming before the 72 hours are up, you can have some extra protein to help get you through. What might affect your P3 is adding fats too early after your last injection. Some extra protein won't interfere with the process.

Congrats on successfully completing P2! that is an accomplishment to celebrate.

Thank you!! It definitely is something to celebrate. I’m very thankful I was able to complete a round successfully and without any major issues. Now to make sure it sticks with a successful P3 as I continue to work on fixing my thyroid and iron issues - therein lies the rub. Lol. Thanks again, I appreciate your time and expertise!

How many injections after a skip day before you can safely end a round?

Just in case it helps someone else, I wanted to update on hunger level yesterday. While it was more pronounced than the 2nd day without injection of my other transitions into P3, it wasn’t over the top or unmanageable and nowhere near the crazy gnawing hunger you get when your dose is too high. I was able to distract myself with work, cleaning, etc to keep my focus on other things, but I am also glad I was able to go to bed early. So while I’m still kicking myself a little for not realizing sooner I should not skip Sunday so I could stop on Tuesday and have at least 3 injections before the transition, it wasn’t bad on 2 and while maybe not ideal, is completely doable/manageable. And I thoroughly enjoyed my egg & veggie casserole, bacon and coffee with cream this morning.

Thanks for reporting back, MrsWoody. I'm sure your update will be helpful information to those that come by later.

First day of P3 always feels like Christmas morning to me. Mmmmm.....bacon!
