Yeah the only problem is that I haven't started it yet. I start tomorrow, so I shouldn't have gained. Then again, I did start my period today, so that might be the reason.

Hi CBelle, I am close to where you are. i am starting P3 on Friday morning. My starting weight was similar to yours and my loss is about 13 pounds so you beat me there. TOM made me gain temporarily then went away so you probably should ignore that gain because of your period. I am on my first round so I am a bit nervous about starting P3. I plan on having eggs as my first meal on Friday. I hope your first day of P3 tomorrow goes well.

    Wow, are we twins??

Yeah I'm nervous too, this is my first time as well, but some experienced people have joined this thread, so I'm sure they'll help us out!

Yeah I look forward to all that good stuff. The problem is that before I started this diet, most of the stuff my family and I ate had starch in it.
I'm mexican so there was beans, tortillas, you name it. We also ate a lot of pasta, sandwiches, and ate out a lot.
So I'm kind of intimidated to look for new meals to make since I don't have much cooking experience (I'm only 16) and I can't eat most of the things
I was always used to eating.
I understand the cultural part oh so we'll, my family is Nicaraguan /Venezuelan so its all about the rice, beans, arepas, tortillas etc... This is definitely a complete lifestyle change, at 1st my family had a hard time comprehending how I could live my life grain/legume/sugar free ( I took in Paleo style eating after round 2) specially my grandma had a hard time accepting, she thought I was becoming malnutritioned, anorexic etc.. Then she saw me transform and manage to stay at my healthiest everrr so everyone accepts my food choices but of course it's always the topic of conversation at family food gatherings lol

Hey! I will be starting P3 on Saturday! this is my first go of it and I am excited but a little bit nervous going into P3. I have a great support system, my aunt and my sis are doing the diet as well. this is their 3rd go of it. SO therefore, they have given me ALOT of recipes for P3 and advice, etc. We have planned a P3 friendly Traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Im so excited!! I have lost a total of 27 pounds so far. I will probably do another round after the first of the year, I have about another 20-25 pounds i would like to lose. I have attached a pizza recipe below my aunts husband who is picky about his food LOVED this pizza and said it was awesome!!! Hope you do well!!! O and also you can fix you "fried chicken" dip your chicken in egg and roll in crushed pork rhines (make sure they have no sugar, ingredients should just be pork skin, and or fat and salt) and fry eithr in Lou Anna coconut oil or olive oil.

    DEEP DISH PIZZA (CHEESE CRUST)

    4oz. cream cheese, softened
    2 eggs
    1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon oregano or italian seasoning
    1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
8 oz. mozzarella cheese, (fresh shredded)
    1/4 cup pizza sauce
4 oz. mozzarella cheese , shredded

Assorted toppings: pepperoni, ham (no sugar added). sausage, 4 ounce can mushrooms, green peppers, bacon, ground beef, etc
Dash of garlis powder and some italian seasoning for top of pizza

In a medium bowl, whisk the cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Whisk in the eggs until the mixture is well-blended and smooth. Add the parmesan and seasonings, then stir in the 8 oz mozarella until completely moistened. Spread the cheese mixture evenly in a well-greased 9x13" blass baking dish ot lightly greased andn lined with parchment paper (see note below). Bake at 375 for 25 minutes ot until evenly browned, but not too dark. Let cool completely on a wire rack. When nearly cooled, take a metal spatual and carefully pry up the edges to loosen from pan. Ease the spatula under the whole crust to loosen. Keep the crust in the pan. This makes it easier to remove the finsihed pizza later. Refrigerate, (put n freezer to speed up for about 10 min) uncovered, until shortly before serving time.

Spread the chilled crust with the pizza sauce, then the cheese and toppings of your choice. Lightly sprinkle with the seasonings of your choice. Bake at 375 about 15-20 minutes or until top is bubbly. Let stand a few minutes before cutting

Makes 8 servings can be frozen

Per serving: 304 calories; 25g fat; 17g protein; 3g carbohydrates; 1g dietary fiber; 2g net carbs ( if you want other recipes i have more as well)

Hello P3'ers... This thread has been quiet... How is everyone doing ??

I just completed my 1st correction steak day tonight. I woke up to 2lbs above LIW this morning so loaded on coffee to kill hunger and had a ny strip steak with a tomato for dinner, lets see what happens at the scale in the am.

    Hope everyone's doing great!
