This is not who you are.....I don't even know you that well but I can tell that the relationship you are in is one sided. You should not be a 'convenient' girlfriend. It only hurts you. Thank you for this, you are so very right!!! I needed to hear this (or read it, lol) and the other comments from the ladies, too. I'm grateful to have a sounding board and have such awesome support!! I am looking forward to my little apartment... I'm scared, but it will be SO much less hassle and heartbreak.

Congrats on you loss, btw!!!!!! Nice job!

Cassie & Fyregirl - Okay, good. So we will keep going on P3 for a while. I really like this forum and almost want to extend P3 as long as I can so I can keep chatting with all of you!

That's a tough situation. I know all too well. My ex husband was a drunk... 2-3 bottles of wine per night. Easily. I'm not joking. It was awful. I was a single mom when I married him, and I did not know the extent of his drinking. I made very little money & did not recieve any child support from her father (DD is with previous relationship, not the ex husband). Honestly, I knew my ex was never going to change -- and I just focused on my work & my DD, got a raise, got another raise. Saved money. Had a plan. Paid of my debt while I was with him. And when the time came (he was away for the weekend). I slipped away with all my stuff. Very Sleeping with the Enemy type stuff LOL I don't think he saw it coming! Was it easy afterwards? Hell no! It was hard as hell until the divorce was completely final. Was it easier than living with him? YES!! A million times, YES! And I never looked back!!

And I'm sad to say, it's only a rare few that really do "change" -- THEY have to want it. You cannot make them. They have to do it for themselves. My ex-husband never changed. He is still drinking & doing the same old. He's not my problem any more though

Well yesterday I went to the golf range and hit some balls, and then after that played a couple games of tennis. And guess what... This morning I was 2lbs heavier then the day before, ha! Still under LDW, but barely.
I also made some cauliflower crust pizzas... They were okay, but for the most part I felt lacking in the real pizza crust feel. It just never seemed to get the right feel. One I burned, and yet the others didn't brown to good and feel apart easily. I much rather have portabella mushroom pizza caps.
I'm still waiting on TOM and boy did my stomach look super poofed out the last time I walked by a mirror. I also had football today so I'm worried the scale will be up yet again tomorrow.
One another note I made a run to Whole Foods and got a bunchie of needed goodies! Finally found unsweented coconut flakes, coconut flower, almond butter, some good mixed nuts (had a few on the way home, ha!) And Dr. Zevia soda, Dr. Pepper flavored Stevia soda OMG! how I've missed Dr. Pepper. I won't be drinking them all the time, but an occasional one here and there will great. And coconut milk no suggar added ice cream! Another things I won't have all the time, but might treat myself too.

Oh and in regards to starting P4, I have no idea! I figure it'll be mostly P3 from here on out but maybe add in a couple things 2-3x's/wk. I scared to death though, LOL! We go to Disneyland in 4wks and I plan to eat mostly protein's, fruits and veggies and have the occasional starch/sugar. I will go for the gluten free options they have though. I have 2 daughters with Celiac Disease and they eat that way and since it's better for you anyway, I figure thats the route I will go.

Thanks for this. I am actually following your footsteps -- planning my escape, saving $, working to pay debts . . . I will still be working for him when I move, but I'm scheming to transition into a life that allows me to be on my own. It's a work in progress!

And I TOTALLY agree with you - you cannot get them to change. You can only work on yourself, which is what I am focusing on :-)

It is a terrible place to be. I can only share what worked for me. While my hubby didn't drink daily his drinking bothered me terribly so it was a problem. I finally got to where I couldn't take it any more and went to a counselor to help ME deal with it. Shortly thereafter I prayed and REALLY gave him to God. I had tried that before but this time I really told God he is truly yours. Not only did I realize that I couldn't change him but I didn't even want to. I felt broken inside. Every time would get a thought and get mad I would remind myself that it was God's problem and not mine any longer. It was amazing how I felt this huge pressure taken off of me. It was during this time I made a personal decision to quit drinking no matter what hubby ever did I knew alcohol repulsed me. I very nicely and I mean calm and nice told hubby of both my decisions. Shortly thereafter he quit drinking. Not everyone is going to have same outcome but it is possible for you to have peace. Look up Alanon and care enough about YOU to take care of you. In the end it is truly all we are able to do. I will pray for you Cassi because I know your pain all too well.
    Hugs

I bought a pint of ice cream tonight called Clemmys all natural sugar free. It has monk fruit and Stevie for sweetener. Here is their website. I would love to know what you think. It tasted Great but was $5 for quart!

You all are some very strong and brave women!! It's never easy to say "This relationship is over. It's no longer healthy." I dated a guy for 3.5 years - he was the whole reason I moved to Nashville after graduating from college instead of moving back home to Ohio. Long story short, he ended up embarrassing me (and himself) in front of all of our friends by saying that he would never get married. Which was a total surprise to all of us since he had talked about us getting married before. That night I decided I was done - it was sort of the straw that broke the camel's back. I asked my parents for help, got my own apartment and moved out of the house that we shared. Best. Decision. EVER. 7 months later I met my husband and well, the rest is history.

Can y'all send a little prayer or juju or whatever your thing is, out into the universe for me? I have an interview next week for a job in my hometown. We have tried to move to Ohio so many times in the last 6 years and it always falls apart. I really, really want to be able to move back there and this job would be the perfect opportunity!

As far as the diet goes, I technically moved to P4 on Saturday, but I don't think I'm going to be adding in carbs. I am doing another round so it would be kind of silly to add them back in to only cut them out again in a few weeks. I finally got confirmation that my hCG for the next round shipped. I'm excited to try injections this time. The only thing I'm worried about is trying to get my dose right.

Back after a year hiatus and 30 lb gain
