    It seems to me that some of the best results I see for correction day are with the chicken thighs. Almost every person does well.
    I didn't do a straight correction day but added chicken thighs this week and dropped down. Have you tried the smooth move tea. I don't know anyone that hasn't worked for. I can't even drink a whole cup of it...

    Is your water consumption still up where it should be?
    Water is always good,3-4 liters a day.

    I've tried smooth move a couple of times. One time it didn't work and someone said I didn't drink it hot enough so I did the recommended temp and time and had violent cramps and faucet pooping.

    When I did the ctd two weeks ago I lost 0 so I'm nervous about trying it again. I ate 8 ch thighs from whole foods about 3 1/2-4" long each. Coffee with 1T cocoa and stevia.

    Mofm produced some results this am, after taking it t 5:30pm so I just took another 4T at 9am. Bottle says not to exceed 4T in 24 hours. Hmm. Too be continued...

    I still haven't eaten anything yet. Maybe I'll go get thighs. How big and where did you buy them??

    Gator: I'm sorry For the tea, you just have to find the right seeping time or else, yes, faucet poop LOL. I had the same happen to me, and I just played around with the minutes of seeping the tea. And always cover your mug when you seep your tea bag. Have you tried flax as well? Tons of fiber, but you have to drink tons of water. I use 1 T everyday on whatever I'm eating.

    AFM, I'm not sure what my "true" weight is. I slept in b/c I'm sick again (Dr has me on some stupid inhaler with steroids), so I weighed in 2 hrs after I usually do... Anyway I was just a few ounces under LDW! We will see what the scale says tomorrow, but maybe there is something to this reset hypothalamus business after all. Kinda hard to believe that I have lost half my vacay weight already. 3 more lbs to go!! I wish I could excercise, but Dr, says no... My lungs are not up to it. Hopefully in a week I will be able to okay, enough rambling, I'm going to make myself some brunch

    so sorry to hear you're feeling bad again. i hope you were feeling good while visiting the parental units.

    the mofm worked this am. 15 hrs after i took 4T. it was the first formed poop i've had in almost a month! i think once you've had kids you lose all sense of shame talking about things such as poop.

    i took another 4T at 9am after my 8am bm, even though the pkg said not to exceed 4T in 24 hours. all i know is my stomach is bloated and i have weeks worth of poop in me that needs to come out and i didn't cramp, or itch!!

    You should ask around about the Cheese and something else CD. I've never done another CD besides steak but I know alot of people said they had success with the cheese day....I can't remember what the 2nd thing that went with the cheese day. I know ThisLady did one so maybe she can help you out with it. I believe someone else on here did one too.

    AFM: I made coconut pancakes today. They were pretty good for P3 friendly pancakes. Very easy to make as well. I'm still saying 2lbs either way at LDW. I even had some movie theater popcorn last night

    Cassi: One thing I have done on vacation is only eat one meal a day out like a cheat and the other 2 clean. Last vacation I only gained 2 lbs in the week I was gone and that wasn't too bad. I plan on doing the same thing and am going to add a bunch of walking to it as well on the beach with hubby! So happy that you are in the 130's again! I have not done a weigh in for about 4 days now.....need to brave it here soon, LOL Clothing all fitting really good so not too worried.

I can and will correct upon my return, but I will not do another round. I will have to do it the old fashioned way, through exercise and diet!

    I used this information that was posted a while back on correction days that didn't seem too harsh: I did the 2 eggs, steak and then cheese at night. It was perfect for me. I cannot remember how much I lost but I remember it worked and I was not an angry bird in the process, LOL

    I found this blurb from Harmony's book about correction days and I love it. I'm going to try what Dr Simeons recommended (2 eggs for breakfast, meat and salad lunch (don;t know if I'll add the cheese yet) and steak and maybe cheese dinner. Hope you find it helpful.

    P3 Recovery (Correction) Days from my book The HCG Diet Book of Secrets (HARMONY)

    To help folks having trouble maintaining, I decided to post an excerpt from my book:

    Recovery Days
    Tired of steak days? There are other options.

    What do you do on a steak day if you don’t eat steak? Try another high protein source. One such person in our support group only ate fish, so she used that. Well, it worked. She ate nothing all day and had cod with tomatoes for dinner – drank lots of liquids and the next morning was below her LIW. Three days later, she was only .4 lb above her LIW.

    If you feel that the skipping of lunch is not doable, you could try the protein deficiency day on pages 95-96 of Pounds and Inches, which also seems to work:
    “The treatment is very simple. The patient is told to eat two eggs for breakfast and a huge steak for lunch and dinner followed by a large helping of cheese and to phone through the weight the next morning. When these instructions are followed a stunned voice is heard to report that two lbs. have vanished overnight, that the ankles are normal but that sleep was disturbed, owing to an extraordinary need to pass large quantities of water. The patient having learned this lesson usually has no further trouble.”

    Or, a strategy described in my first book HCG Diet Made Simple is another to try:
    “If you do gain some, have eggs for breakfast, lots of cheese and protein on a big salad with oily dressing for lunch and a huge steak for dinner with berries and heavy cream for dessert. I swear it works.”

    I've also had success with what I call "Recovery" days, which are high fat with plenty of protein, similar to the old Atkins "fat fast" with mostly fat, except that you don't want to limit it to 1000-1200 calories, as Atkins did. Here are some examples:
    • Deviled eggs with some added mayo and coconut or MCT oil, eaten throughout the day
    • Chicken wings with skin all day long. Try rolling them in olive oil and parmesan cheese and baking them.
    • Sour cream or Greek yogurt or other full-fat dairy, as hunger dictates all day
    • High fat nuts (raw) eaten all day. Macadamias and pecans are good high fat nuts.
    • Protein shakes such as Jay Robb, sweetened with stevia or other allowed sweetener, made with heavy cream and water, rather than milk

    Eat at least five and depending upon hunger, up to seven to ten servings of the following:
    • One ounce of macadamia nuts or macadamia nut butter
    • Two ounces of cream cheese or Brie
    • One ounce of tuna or chicken salad with two teaspoons of mayonnaise served in one-quarter of an avocado
    • Two deviled eggs made with two teaspoons of mayonnaise
    • Two ounces of sour cream with two tablespoons black or red caviar
    • Two and a half ounces whipped heavy cream or full-fat sour cream topped with stevia or berries
    • Two ounces of pâté
    • Two ounces of beef chuck (do not drain fat) cooked in two tablespoons of olive oil
    • Two eggs scrambled in bacon fat or coconut oil with two strips of bacon

    I know that some folks call these types of alternatives to steak days “correction days”, but I wanted a term that reflected the nature of and reason for the procedure, which is to recover from a temporary weight gain before it becomes permanent. “Correction day” sounds like a punishment, along the same lines as the corrections system for criminal offenders. Yuck!

    I think I may have screwed up. I had a 10oz chuck cross rib steak with a T of coconut oil and tonight a package(16oz) of trader joes organic ground beef with a T of coc oil along with 3 large mugs of coffee with aT of cocoa in each. Period. Problem is I'm really full and feel guilty and worried that those 3 lbs I put on overnight will not come off overnight.

    What do you guys think? I guess I'll know in less than 12 hours.

    WOW I had a busy weekend!! Saturday I did nine holes of golf, shoulders and upper body sore! Followed by 18 miles on my bicycle on Sunday and was surprised when I could come down stairs this morning with out holding on!!
    My weight has been the same the last few days WOO HOO !!!!! And I'm just starting week 3 of P3. Oh and I was soooooo bad last night ... Geez, first of I tried the salmon and cream cheese roll up .... Had to force it down with a celery chaser! Ugh!! Then after bike ride, went shopping for clothes with girlfriend so ate 1-2 oz of cheddar and ran out the door .... Followed by sitting by the river and had 2 Mich Ultra ... Yummy .... Ok, here's the really bad part. Went to dinner with friends and had Applebee's Trio (mozzarella sticks, boneless Ckn wings, fried Ckn wonton tacos) and French onion soup .... Oh and 2 Merlots .... Can we say hungry!!!! I didn't eat everything, nor the bread in the soup. The HCG Gods are with me ... Or the gain will come tomorrow ... Either way, tonight will be the kicker... I'm going to the Yankee Game with girlfriends, having my beer but going to try to eat sensibly .... Burger no bread, I always looseon burgers. Oh and im headded to the gym this morning, followed by hitting a bucket of balls at the driving range. maybe all the exercise is helping !?!?! Wish me luck on continued success!!!! And i wish ALL of YOU success !!! Ciao!!!

    Yesterday I just kept cooking to keep myself busy, ha! I made mushroom cap pizza bites, yum! Coconut Chocolate Pie, haven't tasted it yet, but it doesnt' look like any of pictures so I don't know if it turned out right, lol. I also made cream cheese pancakes for this morning, they were pretty good as well.

    I think I might have my first drink this upcoming Sunday for Cinco de Mayo. Excited and nervous. Afraid It will put me up too much or I will go overboard. But I haven't been out for a drink in a long time and been skipping out on stuff not tempted myself. Kinda missing it. :/

    Sounds like everyone has been busy! I'm sorry people are having issues. I've definitely been cheating, but trying to mix eating carbs with clean eating. I got my hCG and supplies for my injections for next round! I'm excited to start Mother's Day weekend. I'm doing a little longer round. I only did 21 days (including load) last round. I'm hoping to get down to 170, but that is a 45lb loss. Not sure if that is possible.

    Oh I just wanted to mention that I interviewed for that job last week. I got the job! So we will be moving to Ohio in August! My family is very excited. I haven't live near home for 13 years.

    I am technically on P4, but I was craving steak and radishes for dinner... P2 food! LOL So, that's what I had! I also had Clemmy's ice cream for dessert. Yum. I can't remember who recommended it, but thank you! It was awesome! Even my DD had some (with sprinkles of course). SARAH... I looked for So Delicious, but they didn't have any sugar free I am down a bit more today, and just 2 more lbs to go before I reach my pre-vacay weight of 117.5. I seriously cannot believe it's coming off this fast! I haven't even worked out yet... Just simple P2/P3 eating for past 3 days. Needless to say, I'm very happy!

    Gator: Thank you! I nearly fell over when I saw I gained 8 lbs on vacay!

    Sarah: Just drink tons of water after drinking... I think you should be okay.

    Spring: Yay to stabilizing!

    McButler: Great news on the job! Congrats!
