Thread: Loaded March 2 - 3, P2 almost done, P3 here we come!

    Lola, congrats! Is this better pay, better lifestyle, or dream job? Happy for you.

    Dr. Didn't say much, just asked questions, ordered a ton of labs, recommended aloe and something else for digestion, and charged a fortune!

    I think the drop came from the bms and eating 500 cals on Wednesday and 1300 yesterday. I really don't want to go to this low cal place, but the hi cal/hi fat wasn't working. I ate two servings of strawberries today so we shall see. I've cut out eggs, bacon, coconut butter, sour cream. I'm basically eating all whites, organic beef, cauliflower mashed potatoes with butter and seafood. Not all in one day

    I'm planning on splurging on mothers day so it'd be fabulous if it went down a little further. This was planned since I started hcg and would've been a first until this crazy started happening with super late Tom and lack of bms.

    Heyitsme, I forgot what you asked and I can't get back to that page .

    What are you guys doing Sunday. Tomorrow is a volleyball tnmt.

    I feel like a kid on Christmas! My scale is here! Yay! I did jump on right away just to see my weight... And then again... And again... Just to make sure it works & it's accurate LOL Feels to me that old scale (before it stopped working properly) & new scale are about the same. Came in at 1.1 lbs under LDW, so I done good this week! Happy Mom's Day weekend girls! Enjoy!

    Gator: at least BM is in check! That is a good first step! BTW - thank you! Yes, it's a better job with more pay. More challenging job, but worth it. Unfortunately it's not dream job - that would be retirement so I can travel, shop & bake! Haha

    Shkelly: Yep. Eat more girl! isn't it great that we can do that after hcg?! I'm just like you - I will try it on my own, then end of summer beginning of fall might do short round. Going on vacay end of October, so need to do it before then.

    Heyitsme: That sounds great! I'm thinking a little curry in the "tortillas" would give it a nice flavor next time

    LoLa: congrats on the scale and weight.

    I ate like a pig yesterday and came down to my decided weight (the 2lbs over LDW) I just need to eat more. I added in some sunflower seeds, chia seeds and pumpkin seeds yesterday. Going to make up a batch on "noatmeal" this week. Tomorrow is the pig out day in Atlanta. Going to this REALLY cool place getting the massive burger with bbq pork on it (minus the bun) we shall see what the scales tell me the next day. ( I can see me having a drink also)

    Now that I have decided on my stabilized weight, I am not stressing I never go a pound over or under it. I can move forward.

    I will check in Monday. Hope everyone has a good weekend and Mother's Day (if it applies to you)

    Good Morning, Hope all you ladies at a good weekend and wonderful Mother's Day.

    I'm up from the weekend but still within in LDW. Lots of salt and play I think are the reasons. OH and TOM should be here anytime now. Just keep chugging along. Been feeling pretty good about being stable. Have been on the higher end lately, which I don't like much because it seems to make it even harder to addd things back or to be fearful of having a casual drink because it might make the scale go up.

    I tried my hand at Almond Flour Chocolate Cupcakes of the weekend... yeah it didn't turn out to good. hA! I think I didn't put enough stevia in them, and I think I baked them too long, maybe needed more something to not be so dry. The cream cheese frosting was good though.

    My chocolate almond flour cake, I think I added more stevia than it called for. (I tasted the batter first...yep raw egg and all) and noticed it wasn't sweet enough.
    Every stevia brand is so different. Read a big thing on sweeteners. You almost always have to add a little xylitol or erytherol to make it taste "sugary" because stevia is sweet but not sugary tasting. That said, I don't, but for my family to enjoy these things, I may purchase a little erytherol (sp?) so that THEY will like it better.

    AFM my noatmeal was:
    almond flour
    pumpkin seeds
    sunflower seeds
    chia seeds
    shredded unsweetened cococut
    almond coconut milk
    vanilla
    stevia

    heated for 1 min in microwave then let it sit.... being a big oatmeal fan, this really hit the spot. I ate it hours ago and I am still full

    I am only up .4 from my stabilized weight after yesterday's day out.
    Started the day with noatmeal and a fried egg.

    for lunch:
    shared an order of buffalo wings.

    I had a BBQ pulled pork sandwich that also had ham and bacon on it (told them to serve without bun)
    yes, I ate the jumbo onion ring on top that was obviously beer battered (OMG was that good)

    the side salad came with cheese, bacon lots of veggies and I had the bacon chive ranch dressing.

    I ate until I was stuffed. later had coffee

    then for dinner a bowl of Tom Ka Gai Thai soup (my fav soup in the world) made with coconut milk, mushrooms and chicken and lots of spices.

    didn't maybe drink as much water as I would like. Had lots of nuts and seeds to snack on during day.

    had NO IDEA what scale would say.... I got to have a fun day out and stayed within my adjusted range!! wooo hooo...

    I ate so much yesterday I felt nauseous :/ I didn't have any water - beer & wine don't count, right?? Haha! And I had more dessert yesterday than I had all month. I weighed in yesterday AM at 2 lbs UNDER LDW... 118.6. I was so happy!

    Today? I'm doing a steak day I went up 4 lbs in one day. Yikes! The nice part is that I have been over-indulging a lot, but after 5 days of P3 eating & CD, I'm always back to 118.5. So I'm not discouraged at all by this

    i started yesterday at 134.4 up 3 from ldw.
    ate pecan pancakes with sf syrup-left some on plate, about 1/2 pancake, which is rare for me.

    had a yogurt pie with graham cracker crust and fat free fudge. and a side of fat free brownies(little topping cup).

    later i had 2 sausages(sf) cooked at home with peppers and onions.

    later had 6oz of chicken breast with FF sour cream(about 3T)

    weighed in at 139.6! up 5.2!!

    i get hit by a semi when i over indulge, not a mini cooper, but a semi!

    it's 1:15 and i've had 2 cups of coffee with 1T of cocoa in each. that's it. i don't know what to do. every time i've tried a cd it hasn't worked, including 2 sds.

    this has been my life. that is why i don't do dates and eat out with my family b/c i get hammered.
    i thought hcg was supposed to help with that.

    i stayed within a lb of LDW for almost a full 3 wks of P3 and then it started to go up little by little so i thought i was pretty stable on the stabilization, but that has not been my case.

    Did you start gaining when you went into P4??

    BTW - I like FFF CDs better at least I am not starving! I am doing a steak CD and I am soooo hungry right now & I have a headache from not eating all day. I think we will eat dinner today at 4pm sharp!

    either you are more sensitive to one of the things than you thought, or it can only be answered by the tests that were ordered. It doesn't look like its your fault. It's not a plate of potato skins or bowls of rice. up 5.2 sounds like you are reacting to something you ate.

    Just me, but when I see fat free or sugar free on a package, it scares me. Too many people I know are sensitive to the "replacement" for these things.
    I agree with Lola - FFF days for me or super high protein, I can't go all day without food. I am cranky, or I end up overeating...blah blah blah

    I clearly need to eat more. Two days of eating a lot more food and I woke up to below my stabilized weight. The noatmeal is starting to take affect now too. Might I suggest to anyone looking to do a cleanse... Noatmeal ! I obviously needed even more fiber. So today I am 1.5 lbs below my stabilized weight and .5 away from my LDW !!!

    I even had a smoothie from smoothie planet yesterday while out shopping with my daughter. The said it was just fruit yogurt stevia and ice..but I was ready to think today that it also had some powdery junk they didn't tell me. It was so nice to stop and just get a yummy drink.

    woo hoo... this is a good day.

    Hi girls! Happy to report that steak CD worked! I am down 2.6 lbs! half way there! P3/clean eating rest of this week to lose the other 2 lbs.

    Gator: I'm sorry you are having so much trouble hun. I'm wondering if your test results will shed some light...? Yes, hcg is supposed to fix this Maybe heyitsme is right... Food sensitivities? I, too, gain big time when I eat out. I don't know what they put in our food, but I don't experience big gains when I eat a home cooked meal!

    Heyitsme: I have that problem too not eating enough on most days, then I get frustrated when the scale doesn't go down. I workout about 4-5xs per week & I dont think I make up for the calories i burn. It's such a crazy/different concept... Eat more to lose?! Haha

    BTW... Where is everyone?? I feel like we lost almost our entire group

    Weight still hanging .08lbs over LDW. Shouldn't be too concerned, but I had stay below LDW for so long I thought maybe I had stablized there. With that said, still expecting TOM anytime.
