Thread: Lose more Wt in P3

  1. #13
I forgot to tell you my last meal was about 1130pm last night, plenty of chicken, fried & baked. I also bought this new creamer called Super creamer, brand is Kitu I guess and it is lactose free, 0 sugar, 3g protein, & mct oil, no carbs, no gluten-- 1 to 1.5 tablespoon with coffee. I do need to have good BM( I'm a nurse) haven't been regular since starting round-'what do you suggest for wifi result? Also what do you think about activated charcoal & will it affect my weight?

Well to be indelicate, being stopped up can certainly mess with the scale. And eating that late is also going to affect morning weight.

The best course is to move things through first. Enema or suppository will get you immediate relief, and then load up on magnesium and vitamin c to get things flowing again.

Once you have that sorted, you may find your weight drops back down.

Constipation is just a normal side effect of P2, and if you don't get it under control, it follows you into P3. I've found it makes things so much better to just automatically start a magnesium/vitC regimen as soon as you start your round.

Activated charcoal should have no effect on your weight that I'm aware of.

After steak day14oz grilled ribeye yesterday with 1/2 apple, I'm down 2.2 lbs. I'm glad I'm down, but I have need to get down 1.6 -1.8 to my low. I am doing high protein day, all chicken, 2 fried breast with meat pulled & mixed with tbsp of dukes mayo since it hasn't seemed to hurt me; this was my 1st meal about 330pm today and will have chicken drumsticks later tonight. Will this help me get back down? I'm not sure if less is better, or do I need to eat more?

Anytime your calories go too low in P3, you are endangering your stabilization. So eat if you are hungry.

2.2 loss from a steak day is a good result. You may or may not lose more, but you can't count on it. Its not about getting to your low, its about staying with 2 pounds of your last dose day weight. If you are in that range, you are doing great.

I loved sautéed okra, but I found out that it is highly inflammatory for me and caused 2-3 lb. overnight gains , so I had to give it up sadly. Also I don't drop anything if I eat too much chicken throughout the day - as you have done, but will lose if I save and eat it only at dinner time (even a whole roasted chicken).

If you save the chicken for dinner, what do you eat for breakfast, lunch?

I'm not much of a breakfast person (never have been) due to not caring for typical breakfast foods such as bacon, sausage, eggs, toast, cereal, pancakes, doughnuts, bagels, grits, etc. - I hate all of those foods - LOL!

I normally have a large rich cup of coffee around 10 am, and if I'm hungry I'll eat the chicken at 1:00 for lunch, but if not too hungry I'll eat a simple salad at lunch time and save the whole chicken for dinner.
