I am a granny!! My 5'2, 110# daughter gave birth to Eleanor Joan, 11#, 20.75" this morning at 1223 hrs 😍😍😍😍😍

Daughter is really sore, she had a 100% natural birth at home. I'm staying a couple days to help out. Eleanor is utterly precious!

Congratulations Blue!! Boy, she MUST be sore after giving birth to a baby one tenth her weight! And inches-wise...let's see...she's about one-third of her mama's height!!

Enjoy your new grand-baby, just in time for the holidays.

I been up and I been down.

I think I was up 5 lbs last week, and for some strange reason I'm down 2 lbs this morning. I'm doing a yogurt day, not Fage, but whole milk organic from Trader Joes, with added whey, MCT. I-AM-STARVING! Well, no not really...just feels like it.

I ordered a short round of HCG from the link here. It was awful easy. I wonder how long it takes to get it. I am sort of dreading and sort of excited to do another round. The reduced meals not looking forward...but I did feel really good on the HCG, so looking forward to that. I'm going to try a lower dose because I was always hungry. At the end of the 43 days or whatever I was SO DONE! We shall see.

Hope all is well with everybody and wish everybody a very Merry Xmas!!!

Hi, everyone! MERRY CHRISTMAS!! I feel so guilty being MIA, but I've been running my fanny off, holy moly! I've went back and forth from Orlando to Atlanta the last two weekends (a 7 hr drive each way), closing out my sales year at work, and getting ready for today then my surgery. How are you all doing?? Was Santa nice to you? My hubby gave me a really terrific recumbent bike for recovery and a pretty nifty computer table to use afterwards.

I'm having my dad, sister and her hubby & son, and her step son and wife over for supper today. The menu? FOOD **** WARNING: corned beef brisket, baked chicken breasts, new baby potatoes with butter and parsley, sautéed cabbage, a fresh salad, fresh pineapple and mango, jello w/fruit cocktail, twice baked acorn squash, and baked beans. Desserts include spice cupcakes w/cream cheese filling, a fresh cheese cake, red velvet cake w/white chocolate filling, no-bake chocolate peanut butter cookies, and gingerbread drop cookies. Lots of stuff to satisfy everyone Me, I'll have the chicken, squash, cabbage, and salad. Add some of the Jello and fresh fruit, and I'll be sitting nice. I do have some sugar free chocolates I may indulge in later

I hope you all enjoy your day

Hey dr & blue! Good to see you are still here.

dr, I hope to start a round in January; I ordered HCG a few days ago. With everything I've been eating, I seem stuck at 3.5 over LIW. Could be worse, I've been eating some cake, cookies and chocolate. Why on earth somebody would give me Godiva and Lindt dark chocolate when everyone knows I've been on a plan...well...it's the thought.

blue, your meal sounds yummy! Have a great day all!

Merry belated Christmas! I have been MIA for... 2 months now???
I definitely had some things I was sensitive to over Christmas. I cooked Christmas dinner on Christmas eve, didn't weight myself Christmas day, and had leftovers Christmas day. Weighed myself yesterday and I had gone up 4.8 lbs! I also made the mistake of drinking hardly any water those two days (let's just say wine was substituted for water) . My feet were swollen and I could feel the inflammation. No freaking out though, as I knew it'd go right back down.

I learned my body responds amazingly well to high-protein/high-fat. So if I go up I just do a high-protein/high-fat day or two and it comes right back down. For lunch yesterday I had a turkey leg and two avocados. Then for dinner I had onions and broccoli sauteed in lots of butter, and a ribeye fixed with lots of butter. Also made sure to drink 100 oz of water. Half and half in my morning coffee and a skinny mocha breve in the afternoon. This morning I was down 3.4 lbs. Sticking largely with the same-type meal plan today to get back down to my LIW as my weight on the 24th was 1.5 lbs above, so I'm still 2.9 lbs above my LIW.

Yesterday was by far the highest weight I've been by at least 3 lbs. Other than that I've done amazing well on P3/P4. I went to Disney for 7 days over Thanksgiving and had the meal plan, so I was pretty much expecting to do a steak day when I got back. I wasn't even that careful while I was gone. I was ecstatic when I weighed myself and was within 2 lbs of my LIW! I'm definitely a believer that HCG totally resets your metabolism!

I'll be starting my second round on Jan 4th. I'm not looking forward to the round itself, but I am so ready to get another round over with!

    Highest Weight: 320
    Beginning Weight HCG R1: 292.6
    Round 5 LIW: 218.6

    Total loss of 101.7 lbs

Hope everyone enjoyed their holiday! AFM ive been eating like im 20 and dont have to worry about my weight. Im up 10. Grrrrr. Its really a slippery slope when u start shoveling the carbs and sweets back in! I wake with a headache every day. So this has been a lesson and now I know better. Still have 12 lbs off and havent gained back all the inches. Cant wait to get back on. Im gonna stay on it as long as I can stand it. Maybe 60 days till the hcg runs out. When im done ill be thinner and much wiser about what I put in my body and how often.
