Hi all! Today is my first day without an HCG shot...been on them 46 days. Strangely, I was not hungry this morning, but ate 6 strawberries and 2 oz of chicken anyway.

I'm a little anxious for P3...been reading obsessively here, probably why, lol. Thinking of starting with bullet proof coffee and I have some avocados getting ready for Saturday, the first day of P3. Boy I would love an egg, but I'll wait until the second week.

Has anybody had any gall bladder issues with the introduction of fat? Also, is it really bad to lose weight in P3? NuImage said I can continue to lose but not at the same rate of course.

I am down 21.6 in the VLCD; 36 lbs more to go. I have been going down .6lb every other day for the last 6 days. Today no loss.

So happy this forum is here...

    Hey ladies!!

Peppermint -- Thanks for sharing that recipe! It looks delicious and I think I'm going to try to make it this weekend! Are you stabilizing ok?

Scotland -- How's your last official P2 day going? I'm always afraid I'm going to starve during the few days without hCG before starting P3, but it's never been too terrible. How excited are you, be honest? Jumping up and down excited, or smelling all the foods you can eat in a couple days excited? LOL!

Lovely -- Yesssssss!!!!! Victory over the cauliflower!! So happy to hear that the inflammation is finally subsiding and you're getting a chance to add more variety in!

Lola -- Yay! If I had a sensitivity to HWC, I would literally cry. HWC in my coffee is literally one of my favorite things. Glad you've cleared it! Good luck with the almonds!

Karen-- Nice job! Keep it up!

ibJ9 -- I can relate to the feeling of intimidation with starting P3! You'll do fine, I'm sure! The cool thing about P3 is discovering all the things that our bodies love and hate. It's frustrating to see gains from sensitivities, but in the long run, it helps so much and makes you feel more in control of your weight and your ability to keep it where you want it! It's not the worst thing in the world to lose in P3, but my understanding is that it shouldn't be your goal, as any loss will be normal fat and not abnormal fat. If you're eating the amount you should be and loading up on the protein with plenty of good fats and your weight goes down in the first few days, that's ok, but it shouldn't continue to go down and if it does, you should increase your food intake. Phase 3 is for stabilizing and "setting" your new weight, which you can't do if it's still moving (either down or up). If you're planning to do another round, that is the time to lose more. If not, you're better off waiting for P4, according to P&I. Good luck getting started!!

bluetechseeker -- Welcome! Looks like dairy is okay for you! That omelet sounds delicious! I may have to skip my traditional eggs fried in coconut oil and try that omelet this weekend! Hope the weekend goes well for you!

AFM, I'm back down to my adjusted LIW (actually .3lbs below it) after just eating pretty clean on Wednesday and Thursday. It's P3D14 for me and I think I've officially stabilized with dairy and eggs. I put off trying almonds and macadamia nuts (although I did have about a half dozen macadamias last Saturday, but not enough to determine if they're "ok" or not) until I was back down from my crazy weekend eating out too much. The plan was to have almonds with my lunch today, but I forgot them. Boo! I'll probably throw some on a salad for dinner or something. Crossing my fingers that I'm ok with nuts too! The wedding I'm in is next Sunday and on what will be P4D2 (assuming I don't gain from nuts and can move on to P4), and I'd like to not worry about unpredictable gains with food I haven't cleared yet. I'll still stay away from the bread, but I'm definitely having wedding cake!

BUT, I'm happy and FEEL good for the first time in a long time....woohooo!! And YES, totally doing the happy dance that I can eat P3 on Monday....can't WAIT!!! But of course, today is just an indicator that I will probably will NOT be that hungry.....uhhhh!!! Go figure, right??? I could have eaten my ARM the last few days with the TOM from hell!!! I'm stabilizing ok, still at or below my LIW but I did gain again 2 days ago, I thought maybe I had too much cheese and HWC but I also ate a nut mix with pecans. I'm thinking it was the pecans. I'll give it a couple days and try to eat them again to see if that was it.

Almond update: not so good. 2 consecutive days of gains. I'm not going to do a steak day. Think Ill lay off almonds for a few days and see what happens. Will do a steak day Monday if I'm still up.

I am still trying to lose from my flax fiasco
I have dropped 1.6 that I gained but I still have a lot of inflammation, I can feel it in my hands. Also the scale is a nice reminder just in case I forget LOL
I have been P2 eating with just fats last 3 days and I am hoping it releases soon.
Steak days DO NOT work for this girl !
I'm just trying to eat clean and let my body do it's thing without forcing it into compliance haa haa
I have 2 pounds left hanging on before I get back to LIW
P3 is painfully slow with only a bit of HWC and eggs. I will be here A LOT longer than 3 weeks......12 days in so far

    Thank you Mandy.

It's been interesting (my first time HCG). Wednesday was my last shot. Thursday and Friday, wasn't really hungry. I was hungry most of the time on the shots. I have been careful for the 3 days post shots to be strictly on protocol. I've lost 2 lbs in those 3 days. Perhaps my biggest loss yet in such a short time. I feel like I should bump up my calories a little today. Same P2 foods though. One thing I cut out this week was grissini.

Good luck to all. This weight thing is such a drag.

I don't think almonds or Mac nuts are my friends right now. Brought some to snack on and keep burping Mac nuts, face feels weird and tingly with almonds 😢

    Good for you Karen!

I completed day one of P3 on about 800 calories. Added cocoa crack and an avocado. Maintained my weight. Phew. Made a brisket last night in the crock pot I'm going to eat for breakfast. I'm going to wait a week for eggs. Might pick up some HWC for the crack.

Happy Monday ladies! Looks like everyone is doing pretty well!

Karen -- Congrats! You should be proud of yourself!

ibJ9 -- Hope it's all still going well! I've still not ever tried cocoa crack. Hmmmm...maybe I should?

bluetech -- Oh no! Sounds like how I feel when I eat bananas (I'm allergic)... Eek!

Lola -- Hope laying off the almonds works for you!

TWACY -- I'm with you on the steak days! They don't really work for me either... Hope the next few days of the P2+fats eating style gets the last of the pesky water off for you!

Scotland -- Welcome to P3!! Hope you're enjoying your first day! Who cares what your co-workers say? Your weight doesn't sound too low for your height and you should do what makes you feel best! I've been given rations of crap over losing vanity weight in the past (not saying yours is vanity weight) and I hate it when people stick their noses in! Grrrr....

peppermint -- Good job stabilizing!! Good luck on the pecan sleuthing!

AFM -- still holding steady with small .5-.8 movements. Almonds for the first time yesterday and more today, so I should know for sure tomorrow if they're ok. Looking forward to trying some almond-flour baking! Phase 4 officially starts on Saturday for me, but I don't think it will stick... Bachelorette party Friday night, rehearsal dinner Saturday, and wedding Sunday. I'm expecting to go up a few lbs with three nights of wine and restaurant food, so I think I'll stay in P3 through next week (with the exception of the wedding cake that I'm definitely eating!!) just to make sure I start my next round (November 16th) right where I am weight-wise. Sometimes it's funny to me how a lot of us are so reluctant to start another round even 3 lbs higher than we have to; we're going to lose it anyway, but like many of you, I hate the though of losing it TWICE!
