I'm kinda glad I decided not to move onto p3. With him being so sick I don't think I would have had time to cook all of that food no less consume it

When I did Dukan Diet and we had our high protein days (which was every other day, you can imagine how boring that got to be after awhile), FFF was encouraged.
You know, I thought I had a problem with the greek yogurt. Now I wonder if it was the "sugar" I added to it (or the cocoa?) I used the Ideal/Xylitol. I'll try it with a few berries instead? Or maybe just plain first.

I plan to fully cut out fruit for awhile in P3 though, I suspect I'm sensitive to it based on these observations.

Question about Fage yogurt...I went P3 shopping..omg what an experience....so much food!! I NEVER have eaten so many things for decades!!!! And the funny thing is, tis the way I prefer to cook, but family never did lol...

Anyway.....the Fage yogurt they had was 0% fat and 2% fat...so I opted for a Greek yogurt that was full fat..I didn't see a shelf label for any other..is there a full fat Fage yogurt or did I mis buy? The Greek Yogurt is a traditional plain yogurt, no sugar added....Greek Gods brand.

Full fat Fage exists but not many place carry it. I usually add some HWC to 2% if I can't find full fat. Yum!
I love Greek Gods Greek yogurt! Will add those in a week. Can't wait!

There is a full fat Fage. I know they say to eat full fat stuff on P3, but I can't stand full fat yogurt, sour cream or cottage cheese. So, I stick to what I like. I never in my life thought I'd be having to make excuses for eating low fat stuff!!

I made the cocoa crack today. It's really good, but it sure does melt fast! I need to work on cocoa crack M&M's, so they melt in your mouth, but not in your hands!

I also made oopsie rolls for the 1st time. This was not a good experience. When I put it on the pan, it was more like runny pancake batter. I also put some in a muffin tin just to see what they'd turn out like. It's almost like a muffin shaped omelette and not very good. I think I'll have to try again. I was so worried about messing with the egg whites' integrity, that I don't think I whipped them enough.

Today is day 11 of my P3, and so far I've stayed about 1 pound below my LIW, so I guess I'm doing ok. I took pics last night in the same thing that I wore when I did 'before pics' on May 10th. I can't tell much difference. I know I have a lot to lose, but I was hoping I looked a little different. I mean, I can tell, but it's not as obvious as I'd hoped. That made me feel kind of down today. I've been wanting to just pig out, but I'm trying to tell myself not to be dumb, that I'll feel better about myself tomorrow.

Heather, if you get an antibiotic that doesn't have any flavor to it, then ask the pharmacist to put vanilla flavoring in it. I've never understood why they have all those fruit flavors for kids' medicine. Vanilla covers bad tastes up better than anything that's out there! If the flavor is the problem, maybe that would help. I hope he feels better soon, and I hope nobody else in your house gets it!!

First 2 weeks of p3 have been great. I've been so lucky to actually not have to do any steak days. I've been so good about reading labels and sticking to the plan. I've only had one splurge so far and was lucky to wake up only to a 1 lb. gain that I ended up loosing within 2 days. I hope everyone else is on a good roll too!

Yesterday I made some KILLER P3 fruit dip! I used a pack of cream cheese and let it soften, added a couple tablespoons of butter then mixed it. Added in around 1/4 of cup or so of heavy whipping cream and 3 tablespoons of vanilla... mixed it more... and then started adding the Stevia, which probably ended up being around 1/8 of a cup or so. Not really good with measurements because I don't really measure =) It was AMAZING with blueberries and strawberries. Best desert I have had in about 6 weeks!

    Happy Monday ya'all!

Hi all...had a better eating day after finishing all the chocolate ice cream reading Dracula last night...Im now 1.8 above LIW so I better get my act together. The sugar cravings are driving me mad. I give in and then I can't stop. bbBBBLLLaaacccCCKKKK

But, you all have inspired me and I'll hunt some non-dairy cream and sour cream and cocoa and coconut oil to make some cocoa crack and dip.

Had my steak and tomato tonight. I was sick of my usual cut up pieces of tomato with vinegar, fresh basil leaves & salt & pepper . . . so, I sliced it up and fried it in butter and topped it off with big flakes of parmesan cheese. It was rather good! Now I hope I didn't ruin my steak day doing that!

A few of you asked about fage so I thought I'd chime in. As I've said before I've eaten fage and used it for correction days consistently. Last correction day lost over 4 pounds. I use the 2% and put raw almonds and atavism in it. Course I've never had a problem with dairy.
Been holding well the last couple days, 3 weeks is over Wednesday. Have added back some carbs, today probably the most so we will see what the scale says tomorrow. Night all!

I might have to try that. How much do you eat in a day? And 2%, not the full fat? What is atavism?
