    ddbop, I don't usually count the 2 transition VLCD as part of P3. I do a full 21 days of P3, starting the day that I'm allowed to eat the P3 foods. Hope that helps!

    Thanks for the clarification. My body is ready to phase out and I'm looking forward to having healthy fats again and going low carb. My hands are cracking, which is painful and I'm not sure I can push on for another 5 days before phasing out. I'm looking forward to being in P4 by Christmas. :-)

    P3 and Beyond - Let's Do This Together!

    DD, I too started counting on the first day I could eat P3. Just think of it as 21 days of P3 eating before transitioning to P4.

    I too was grateful to start eating more fat again. I do eat some carbs for thyroid health, but like to keep lower carb as well.

    Morning all!

    I can't believe it, but as of this morning I'm still UNDER LDW. Not by a lot, but I'm a happy camper! Weighed 135.8 (LDW 136.4). So....up about 2.4 from my lowest weight last week, but still good!

    Clean eating today....let's see if I can get some more off!

    How is everyone else this morning?

    I think I'm going to give it another day, as I was down another pound this morning! Tuna from the can must really work for me. :-)

    So I'm going to do drops today, then 2 days of 500 cals w/o drops so that my first day of R4 will be on Christmas Day. I think that'll be a really great present. LOL. That way I can also indulge in one piece of mint fudge I'm making. :-)

    Is there going to be a new thread started for December? Maybe there already has been.....of to check.

    I'm down to 127.6. :-)

    Hi all,
    Wtg Jen, you can do it.
    Instead of spending money yesterday,
    I spent 2 1/2 hrs trying on all the jeans I own.
    Yay, all my big jeans are tucked away they were all 7's and some 9's.
    I never, ever, want to see them again!
    All of my 3's and 1's fit, along with a couple of 0's.
    The smallest jeans went to my daughter as she is tall and slim.
    I weighed myself this morning and am down to 115.2.
    Doing the happy dance! I have gotten my calories way up there
    and am still losing weight. Still haven't added any grains or nuts in yet.

    After losing over 70 lbs, my doctor also cut my BP dose in half. I began to retain more water weight though and was able to go back to my original RX which was a natural diuretic.

    May I ask what you were taking? I'm on hydroclorothiazide HCTZ. Still at half dose but would like to go back to full dose.

    Hi everyone! Been quite busy since Saturday. My sister got to come shooting with us with was a treat. She's never gone, but her husband stayed with her toddlers so she can join us. We had so much fun. We had too many Bloody Marys at the casino.

    Yesterday after a day of shopping I got gluten free pizza from a restaurant which is definitely not starch free. I had dark chocolate last night too. As of this morning, I'm sitting at -2 LDW. I'll take it! I am not rushing to gain, but I'm ok with gain 3 more by the time the year is over. I've gained already as I was 4 under the weeks before Thanksgiving. I just want to keep it here for a bit as I fear gaining too fast may start a trend that I can't stop. Today, I ate clean for breakfast and dinner with leftover pizza for lunch. The craziness has slowed down so I won't be MIA.

    I'd like to keep this thread active as it's P3, not month specific.

    I vote to keep this thread going as well too! No need to change it as it's not month specific. :-)

    I'm glad that I decided to make today my last day of drops as I JUST RAN OUT TONIGHT! Phew. Cut that one close. I know I'm going to be hungry these next two days though. I'm always hungry when I wake up until I take my drops. I suppose I should just drink a bunch of coffee, water, and chicken broth.

    Any other survival tips?
