    P3 For Big Eaters!

    Do you have a BIG appetite?

    Do you find that your daily P3 calorie counts are high without much effort?

    Are you at 1,000 calories before lunch?

    Well, this is the place for you to share your menus and thoughts on controlling portion sizes and stabilization after working so hard in P2.

    I'll start:
    My Breakfast:
    3/4 cup Eggbeaters 90c
    3 strips Gwaltny Bacon 90c
    4T homemade guac 170c
    4 T heavy cream in my coffee 200
    Juice from 1 lemon 12c
    Total (per Sparkpeople and label) 562 calories

    R1: 154.6- 125 Maintained for 6 months easily.
    R2: 134.6-118.6 Took it too far.
    Gained back 25# from getting too low.
    R3: 143.6-123.6
    R3P3D8: 127.2 (3.6 over LDW)

    Here is lunch and dinner:
    Chicken Breast, with skin, 250 grams 430c
    Cauliflower, frozen, cooked, 2 cup 68c
    Hard Boiled Egg, 1 large 78c
    Oil and Vinegar Salad Dressing, 0.25 cup 281c
    Sauteed Onions and Bell Peppers, 1 serving 100c
    3 slices turkey bacon 60c
    lettuce, 1/2 tomato, red onion 50c
    Lemon Juice 24c

    Lunch and Dinner TOTALS: 1,091
    Snack: Choco Delight 410

    Total for Day:2,063

    See what I mean? This was effortless on my part and I would even love to drink more coffee with heavy cream tonight (making it 6 cups for the day) which would add aother 100 calories to my day's total. And this is only day 3 of P3. This is why I can't understand when people say they are not hungry and have trouble getting in 1,000 calories.

    My hungry robot brain does not compute.

    God I hope I don't bonk on the scale tomorrow. I don't want to feel deprived. I know waaaa waaaa. My energy level is coming back and I am starting to rev up my workouts again. Hopefully that will offset my intake.

    Mary I will be joining you in P3 next week and I cant wait! My last P3 I was hungry all the time and was easily eating 1900-2100 calories a day. I think the only thing that kept me in line was that fact that I WAS keeping track of my calories or god knows how much I would have ate!!

    Oh good! A fellow big eater!

    I did burn about 250 calories working out today. At full energy levels it will be around 400 so I won't feel quite as concerned about going 2,000+ then.

    I just went to put the chicken I made in the crock pot into a container and I wanted another piece! And I just ate my Chocolate Delight 10 minutes ago. It's like I am never fully satisfied. Probably a carry over from my overstuffed childhood but I sure would like to have more control over my desire to eat so much.

    I am looking forward to getting back to drinking my large green smoothies for breakfast in P4. Those seem to help a bit with this issue. I pretty much always wish I could continue to eat when my plate is cleared.

    I worked out 5 days a week in p3/p4 so Im sure that helped keep the calories in check. Im also sure it contributed to my constant hunger!

    A typical day for me would be-

    Breakfast
    2-3 eggs cooked in butter
    4 slices bacon

    Lunch
    2-3 baked chicken thighs
    mashed cauliflower mixed with cream cheese

    Snack
    Handful of almonds

    Dinner
    Baked stuffed portabellas (filled with lean ground beef, SF italian sausage, sauce and mozzerella)
    Toss salad with crumbled eggs, cheese and chicken chunks with maries creamy garlic dressing

    Snack
    blueberries with heavy cream

    Im just praying this round will be the same or I will be so sad!!

    Hi! Today I am at 1600 calories and I have yet to count in my two late night snacks that I will have! I haven't had much of an appetite today, probably due to yesterday's high protein content, but am usually above this by now.

    For breakfast I had a minute muffin with real whipped butter and blueberries. Yummy!

    For lunch I had a tuna salad with Duke's mayo, and a container of Greek yogurt with Vanilla Stevia and cocoa powder. I had a bunch of running around to do so only had a baked apple with Vanilla Stevia and cinnamon for a snack.

    For dinner I had steak stir-fry and mashed cauliflower with whipped butter and sour cream. I am now eating a second container of Greek yogurt with Vanilla Stevia and cocoa powder. It's addictive!

    I have had coffee with half and half all day along with sparkling flavored waters. I'm pretty lazy right now so I don't plan on returning to the gym until well into p4. With this appetite, I should probably get off my booty though.

    I ate very similarly in my last P4 with success also. Wow, we have very similar tastes!

    I haven't even reintroduced dairy yet. That's when the calorie count gets scary!

    The plan is cheese tomorrow if the scale doesn't strike over the Chocolate Delight.

    I see we are in a similar weight range as well. How tall are you? Are you getting hassled from anyone about your weight loss? I have always been 20 pounds heavier so I am hearing a lot about it.

    If we can eat 2,000+ calories and weigh what we do now this truly is a miracle!

    I am constantly getting harassed and I have no idea why. Im only 5'3" and the height/weight charts put me at 115 for a healthy weight so Im not underweight. I didnt tell anyone about this round except my husband and kids so I wouldnt have to listen to it! But whatever!! Im doing this for me!!

    I will pray to the HCG gods to let us keep this miracle going!!

    Okay, add in my two snacks...leftover steak dipped in Duke's mayo (just a tad) and some homemade chocolate mousse with heavy whipping cream, xylitol, and cocoa powder...I am well over 2000 calories. And I loved every single one of them.

    Oooh, steak dipped in mayo! Sounds amazing.

    OK, I was steady today at 117.4 (-1 under LDW) so I am venturing into cheesy territory today. I upped my Natural Calm yesterday. I sensed a slow down in my "digestion" since entering P3 and I am sure that helped me. I will probably do that for a while until I see some stabilization on the scale as I add the cheese and nuts back in. It works amazingly well and I don't feel like I am harming my body like I would with a laxative.

    I will report later today with estimate calorie counts.

    What huuuuge amounts of food are you all noshing on today?
