Hi all! I rarely post because the tool bar seems to provide me with most everything I need, but I just started R1P3 yestereday. I ate 2365 calories right out of the gate, first day. The only "sensitivity items" I added back were eggs--3 hard boiled, and 1 oz of vodka, the rest were fats and proteins that I missed. My percentages were 72%(fat) 21% (protein) 4%(carbs; skipping fruit for first week) 3%(alcohol). Right at my LIW to the ounce this morning AND I started TOM my last day of P2 so there may be a bit of water retention. I don't think I can eat that much again today, but I want to keep the calories up there so I can back down on calories if the scale starts to climb rather than add to find the sweet spot. Hope this thread gets a little more active, it's been very helpful to me planning my p3 plan of attack. Thanks to all that have shared their menus and progress in P3, this thread has been super helpful to me. Will continue to keep the thread "alive" with updates for all those in P2 searching for us big eaters!!!!

Perhaps you can get it at the library if you are feeling unsure about it, or take a look at a copy in a bookstore before buying it. It is the best book I have read in ages, I really loved it!
Sorry I just found your comment. I did get the book on my iPad and I really like it. She gives scientific info and then explains so I can understand. Her views are very compelling and are inspiring me to make a lot of changes. There is so much to absorb and I will need to read again. I'm almost finished. I'm so amazed at how one issue leads to another and that everything in our bodies is so related. Thanks for recommending the book. I am telling everyone about it.

Annie I just subscribed to this thread. I'm about to start ph 3 in few days. This is my 4 th round and with each round I become more educated as to how to maintain my weight loss. The book "Primal Body, Primal Mind" is really helping me prepare to have my greatest success at stabilization so far. I love eating fats and am looking forward to finding the right combination of diet/supplements that will finally free me me from my sugar/carb addiction. Looking forward to your updates.

Hi Lola! Thanks for the book suggestion. It's on my list for sure---so many people on this forum and even in my personal life seem to really be moving their food choices in this direction and finding a lot of health and weight maintenence success with it. There must be something to it. Today I feel satisfied, TRULY satisfied by the foods I am eating, and that for me, has been the greatest gift of all.

Up +1 over LIW, but I haven't had a bm in like 6 days!? I thought constipation would be over in p3 but it seems even worse. The only thing I introduced new were eggs yesterday. We wil see.
