    I am up a pound over LDW, but that is probably because I got the awesome idea to make homemade chocolate mousse at 11 p.m. and dip strawberries in it...and then eat the whole bowl of mousse. Not a good idea. I'm not going to do high-protein or anything just because I don't want to, but I am NOT going to eat a bunch of heavy cream and sweetener late at night again. Hope it will just come off by itself, otherwise I will do high-protein tomorrow. I don't want to fret the fluctuations, though, because it will make me crazy

    I love dipping all meats in mayo; it's yummy! I am going to have another minute muffin with butter and blueberries for breakfast along with my coffee and cream. Have a good day!

    I am just going to watch you two with awe and envy until I can join you!! I start P3 Monday and I am already writing my grocery list!!

    Ive never dipped my steak in Dukes? Ill have to try it! I usually butter both sides of my steak, sprinkle it with garlic powder and then grill it on the George Forman. OMG, I cant WAIT!!

    Yes, what's this Minute Muffin, even though I probably won't be eating one ever because of my constant hopping around on the scale these days. grrr....

    Somedays I'm a big eater, then there are days when I don't feel like eating at all. Yesterday was one of those not eating days and today I'm 4lbs over LIW! I guess I'd better eat, huh? LOL

    If I had a day where I didn't feel like eating I would start making funeral arrangements. Lol.

    Day 2 P3:

    2 eggs
    1 piece sausage

    Snack:
    4 oz greek yogurt
    5 cherries
    1/3 cup milk
    1 scoop why powder

    Lunch will be salad @ Whole foods salad bar

    Dinner beef & asparagus.

    Also had a SF Vanilla Latte! Think I am overdoing the dairy? This soon? It's ALL I WANT!




    Round 1:
    Starting Weight: 207
    LDW: 185.5
    VLCD 23: -21.5

    -21.5 lbs in 23 days. Round 2 in April!

    I am new to Phase III since Saturday, 2/25 and just now getting on board with the foods I am supposed to be eating. I love to eat and I love to eat a lot so if I get started, especially on carbs, there is no end to the amount of calories I can consume. And at a certain point I no longer care!!!
    I am committing myself to learning the Phase III protocol and following it. Was at 172 at end of Phase II and am at 172.5 today so I am happy abbout that. Also I am focusing on increasing my activity level, I walked over 3 miles yesteray and 1.5 miles so far today ;-) Jim

    Here it is:

    Minute Muffin

    1/4 cup flax meal
    1/8 tsp baking powder (sub 2 parts cream of tartar and 1 part baking soda)
    1 packet Stevia
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1 tsp butter
    1 egg

    In a large coffee cup, mix dry ingredients and then add egg and butter. Mix well. Microwave for 50-60 seconds. Muffin pops out.

    I double the cinnamon and use 2 packets of Sweet 'n Low instead. It is delicious!


    I love Duke's mayo! I am addicted, LOL.

    tmott24- Any idea what the cal count of the mug cake is? I have a big piece of Choco Delight every night but I am always wanting something sweet after a monstrous lunch. Shocker!

    Well here is my total so far today:

    Breakfast:
    Egg substitute, liquid (Egg Beaters), 0.5 cup 60c
    Cheddar Cheese, 1 oz 114c
    Bacon, 3 medium slices, cooked (raw product packed 20/lb) 109c
    Guacamole, 2 tbsp 85c
    Lemon Juice, 2 lemon yields 24c
    Heavy Whipping Cream, 4 tbsp 207c

    Breakfast TOTALS: 599 Cal

    Lunch: This was a ginormous Cobb salad. Filled a medium size serving bowl!
    Butter Lettuce (salad), 4 cup, 31c
    Bacon, 3 medium slices, 109c
    Hard Boiled Egg, 1 large 78c
    Onions, raw, 0.5 cup, chopped 30c
    Red Ripe Tomatoes, 0.5 medium whole 13c
    Blue Cheese, 0.25 cup, crumbled, 119c
    Oil and Vinegar Salad Dressing, 0.33 cup 370c

    Lunch TOTALS: 751 Calories

    So I am up to 1,350 all ready. Oh boy.

    I read somewhere that the calorie count of a mug cake is upwards of 500--I believe. I checked the calories for the minute muffin on livestrong.com/myplate (which is where i keep track of my foods) and it is approximately 200 calories--before I put the extra butter and blueberries on top.

    Oh, wow, your salad sounds absolutely delicious!! I have been too scared to add in any real dressing yet, but I have some Bolthouse Farms Ranch that I will be using soon. For something sweet after lunch, I have been having an 80-calorie container of Dannon Greek plain yogurt with Vanilla Stevia and cocoa powder. I eat the cocoa crack/delight all freakin' day long, too. Oops, I never count those calories in...LOL. I have made it using Valencia Orange Stevia (chocolate orange....yum) and also Peppermint Stevia. Both ways are addictive.

    I just want to chime in here! I have such a huge appetite and have been averaging about 1500-1600 calories a day (I could eat lots more, trust me!) LOL I really want to eat more but I"m afraid of what the scale is going to do? I've been on a pretty steady increase, and I've almost lost that 2 pound cushion I had. Do you think I should up my calories more than that? I'm 5'2 and 125 as of today... What do you guys think? I'd really like to rev my metabolism so I can eat more than 1500-1600 calories a day and not gain!

    Tmott- I made cocoa crack yesterday, it was SOOO amazing!! I added in 2 TBSP Heavy cream and about 2 TBSP unsweetened shredded coconut! OMG that stuff is so good! I have to really watch myself with it though, I think it might cause me problems if I don't! LOL Thanks for posting your minute muffin recipe!! I think I'm going to try and find some flax meal at the grocery store today!!
