I lost 1.2 after eating this yesterday:

B: 3 sausage links (no sugar in ingredients) and applesauce
L: 6 oz burger patty with a med. avocado and med. tomato
S: 7 oz. Fage Total with strawberries
D: 12 oz. ribeye and zucchini (I marinated the zucchini in Briannas Real French Vinaigrette Dressing) grilled outside - I put butter on both (OMGosh, yum) TOTALED over 2000 calories.
I never let myself get very hungry, I really tried to listen to my body. I was so used to drinking water when I felt hungry before so it has been difficult to let myself eat instead of drink.

This is totally me. I have to fight the urge to delay meals or wait just a bit longer to eat. I have realized that, even if I don't eat an excess of food, when I let myself go too hungry, my body will go ahead and hoard anyway.

This daily menu sounds really good to me. I luv sausage! Good job, eating well, and dropping weight at the same time! I luv reading what everyone ate that day--it's great for ideas! Thanks for sharing that! And wow, how balanced a menu is yours!

Red-Carolinas menu is only "clean" if YOU have already cleared those foods for sensitivities. Eggs, Ricotta, Parmesan, almonds are all foods that can cause problems. So a "clean day" should be foods that you have eaten time and time again with no problems. Are you sure your ok with avacado? Because you mentioned them each time you've gained? Just a thought!

Carolina nice drop. Your body is loving the high fat this round. Mine was like that last round too, a day of 70+ fat would always give me a loss. This round it likes things more equal between fats/proteins. Weird how your body reacts differently after each round even when protocol is followed the same.

Dubbs-sorry I never got back on last night. I jumped on and all of a sudden got so tired I had to close my eyes! We are leaving for camp early afternoon. Hopefully my neighbor has her internet connection up so I can check in on everyone. If not I will be without any kind of technology for the second weekend in a row! I think your 100% right about your little stall being a set point. If thats what you weighed for a while in the past it seems like your body remembers. My first round I stabilized at 126 which is what I weighed for years and years after my son was born. This round I keep going up to 118 which is what I weighed until he was was born. Theres gotta be something to it.

Ooops, be right back with more.

., Hope you have a great time at the cabin. Does it take a few hours to get there? Hope you get the internet this weekend, we missed you while you were gone. Do you do all the cooking there?

Thanks, Tracy, I do hope my Fage day works. Have to call in a minute and see if they got the buffalo steak in, it would probably be better to do the steak day first, but I'm now salivating at the idea of a Fage day! lol. You got big plans for the kids over the holiday weekend?

Hi T! So what kinda cake was it?? I havent had cake in so long... Our next family bday is my son's and he always wants cheesecake. Figures, something on "protocol-ish" ... We usually have cable/phone and internet up there but Im so far behind this year with everything I still havent made the phone call. This thread might have something to do with me being so far behind!! Im glad you enjoyed the cake/ice cream!! So when you take the kids camping do you do tents??

My bro and one sis have May b'days, one year apart - yikes! No wonder my parents were mean! Where in CO were you, do you remember? We love it here for the most part. I don't know where I'd like the weather better, as I do terribly in humidity.
Claire-how funny, the age of your oldest is the age of my youngest! Its like a chain! And he just got his DL last month when we were doing the remodel. When he "dropped me off" after the test was over I cried like a baby as he was driving away... I never watched BL so I have nothing to contribute except your guys comments that whoever is a size two and still looks fat--HELLO?? Ive been saying that about ME right along!!!! BUDDHA BELLY!!!!!! And congrats on your proud moment with Becca!! Are you gonna share??

Doc went fine. Even though my cholesterol was up with the change it med he wants to leave it for 4 months and retest it. My blood pressure was lower than usually, but I've noticed that in P2. it was 98 over 60 and typically I run 112 over 70ish. Leftover from my obese and diabete days I still take a med for blood pressure but only because it also protects the kidneys. He went looking to reduce the amount I take and I reminded him that he'd already cut it in half months ago.

I asked him about the hormone blood work results since I've not been able to talk to my gyn yet. He said that by and large the majority of women go through menopause with little or no symptoms. When peri-menopausal women go on hormone therapy it's usually at lower levels that what's found in birth countrol pills. He feels that my being on BCpills likely helped with the lack of symptoms and that the 'periods' I had when off for a week were not actually periods but cause from the sudden lack of the hormones in the pills.

As for the long bleeding while on the pills during my last round and into P3, he says that most will not try to figure it out and blame it on the hcg. I'll talk to my gyn next week also. I've had people tell me to go on bio-identical hormones, but I have a feeling my gyn will say that I don't need to since I'm post and not peri.
Huummm, that is very interesting. It will be interesting to hear what your Gyno has to say. When is that appointment??

Ok-AFM-Im down .6 today. Not much for a Fage day but with TOM here I wasnt expecting much. Or maybe the Fage is getting back at me for badmouthing it last night??? We will never know....

I'd eat lean meat all day today and skip the FFF. You can always boil/grill a bunch of chicken and munch on that. In fact, that's what I do on high protein days. I just leave a container of it in the fridge. I will also eat a can or two of tuna with a tiny bit of mayo.

Dubbs, morning. Damn, still at the same weight? Well, hopefully this FFF day will kick start some losses for you. It's so disappointing to stick to protocol and then stall. Have you ever done an apple day? I love doing them. I'll bake like three of them and eat the rest regular. I don't give up one apple on those days. Good luck with your buffalo steak day tomorrow And yes, that damn cake/ice cream was delicious....hehe.
I've eatlen avacado before and was fine... IDK I'll leave it alone for a while. I eat lots of Fage and already had a cup and a half and chkn for breakfast... gonna eat just chkn for the rest of the day... I usually loose with chkn and fage days, just gonna do more chkn then fage this time. Annies ceaser has 2 grams of sugar, maybe thats to blame, but I cleared it before. Where did you get your dressing.... or maybe may gain yeaterday was from all that Fage with the combination of food... to much sugar with the dressing berries and fage. I think I got it! from now on only one fage a day, and one salad otherwise I think the gains are from too much of all of those...Thats why I love yours and Dubbs posts. Ill try that one Tueday after my three correction days. I wont have access to a scale so Im gonna do the correction days anyways and see what have on Tuesday!

Dubbs, we're not really doing a whole lot. My mom is coming in to take the birthday boy and his friends to see a movie since I'm stuck with the little ones (thank God for family!) and I was thinking about doing some shopping. I don't know yet. It's rainy and yucky out here. Then tomorrow we are supposed to grill out at my friends' house. I haven't seen them for awhile so it should be fun. You're staying home, right?

Honey, the cake was chocolate w/buttercream frosting from Wal-Mart. Deeeeelicious. Omg, cheesecake is so good, too. LOL, don't worry-this thread is the reason I'm behind in lots of things too...but I'm not complaining! I love you guys and this is my 'getaway time', you know? And I haven't taken them camping in three years (what a naughty mother...) because of the three successive babies, but we will sleep in tents. Oh yeah. I'm creeped out by camping and bugs and...yuck. I'm the type that would rather stay in a hotel, but I really want to get out and enjoy some fresh air, too. Hey--.6 loss to eat Fage all day? Awesome in my book!

Red, that sounds like a plan. I'd actually try to cut out the Fage and the dressing both and I bet you'll drop! It very well could be from all of the sugar. Good luck with your correction days!

Hi Dubbs! Its just a little over an hour drive and a VERY beautiful ride, all farm country until you hit the lake. Its in the Adirondacks, (not sure if that means anything to you!) but its all extremely beautiful countryside. Hubbs and I cook together, though he's more the main cook of the family. Im the planner, side dish person and he's the grill master. We have a large group of friends and family right around us so there always huge group dinners at least one night and its always ends up being at our place but I love it. Everyone brings a dish and cleans up. What kills me up there is the campfires every night. Pina coladas and snacks being passed around all night long... I can feel the pounds creeping back on just typing it...

Honeyb., your posting to Jarrett gave me a good laugh! And we are indeed a chatty bunch. Chompers need to keep their chops occupied at all times, even if via the internet! What do we always say, down on the scales, is down--and a good thing! You didn't badmouth the Fage too much, you're just not a freak about it, like Tracy and me!
